In a collaborative initiative between Isra Foundation School and Isra University, a group of enthusiastic teachers visited Isra University on Friday, January 19, 2024. The purpose of their visit was a demonstration of the ICTINOV Project and the cutting-edge ICTINOV lab equipment. The session, led by Dr. Suhail Kazi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Science and Technology, and Dr. Mutee U Rahman, Professor in the Department of Computer Science, provided a comprehensive introduction to the ICTINOV Project, Design Thinking Methodology, and the innovative lab equipment. The educators were not only inspired to integrate Design Thinking into their teaching methodologies but were also encouraged to explore the utilization of small single-board computers such as Raspberry Pi and Arduino in STEM subjects. This collaborative endeavor a step towards fostering technological integration with Isra Foundation Schools.

On the direction of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi and Former Chancellor, Prof.Dr. Hameedullah Kazi, Isra University, Hyderabad, the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) conducted interviews of students for the Isra Career Society and Isra Entrepreneurial Society on 22nd January, 2024 at Isra University, Hyderabad.
A total of 35 students were interviewed by ORIC Team, who demonstrated not only their exemplary skills but also unveiled their profound aspirations and unwavering dedication towards shaping their academic pursuits. The engagement of these students showcased a remarkable commitment to academic excellence and a keen desire to contribute meaningfully to their educational journey.
The Isra Career Society (ICS) aims to guide students towards their professional goals, offering mentorship, networking opportunities, and valuable insights into corporate world. The Isra Entrepreneurship Society (IES) is getting ready to inspire new ideas and business skills to generate the entrepreneurial echo.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the students who participated in the interviews. Your passion and commitment to your future endeavors are truly commendable.

One day workshop on a**l sphincter injuries was conducted by Prof. Pushpa Srichand at ISRA UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL.
OASIS are complications that occur during vaginal delivery. Early diagnosis of these damages is mandatory to define a prompt therapeutic strategy and thus avoid the development of late consequences.
Surgeries for OASIS are difficult to perform. Very few consultants are doing these surgeries successfully. The aim of this workshop was to train the junior consultants.
Workshop was started at 9:45 AM with recitation of Quran & National Anthem. Presentations were given by faculty of Gynae Unit – II followed by Hands on, on models.
Guests, Dr. Sajjad Kazi Director IUH & Dean Dr. Khalid Talpur were decorated by traditional Ajrak by Prof. Pushpa Srichand & Prof. Syeda Nishat Zohra. After tea break live surgeries were shown from OT to Asadullah Kazi Auditorium to audience & also through zoom link to other participants. Surgeries were performed on 4th degree Perineal Tear & Rectovaginal Fistulae.
Whole program was also shown in different hospitals of Pakistan. Through zoom link. Workshop was successfully conducted by Prof. Pushpa Srichand in Isra University & all over Pakistan through zoom link.

Two-member team of the Sindhi Association of North America( SANA) paid a visit to Isra University. Ms. Shahida Shaikh, Vice President, and Dr. Nasir Jamal Pathan visited ISRA Hospital and ISRA University campus. They had a meeting with Vice Chancellor Dr. Ahmed Walliullah Kazi, Dean Clinical Sciences, Prof. Khalid Iqbal Talpur, and Dr. Sajjad Kazi, Director ISRA Hospital. Very useful interaction took place and many issues were discussed where ISRA University and SANA can collaborate to enhance the standard of education and health in Sindh province.

The Vice-Chancellor Isra University, Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi awarded degrees to graduates of Isra University Karachi campus for the graduating students of the academic year 2021-2022 and 2022-2023, in a degree distribution ceremony held at Isra University, Hyderabad on 16 January 2024.
The Vice-Chancellor congratulated the graduates and extended his warm wishes for their future endeavors.

On the direction of the honorable Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi, the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization organized an “Auto Show” held on 16th January at Isra University, Hyderabad.

Our Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi, graced the event with his presence, adding an extra layer of expertise and academic insight. The students were privileged to gain valuable knowledge from his perspective on the evolving trends in the automotive world.

The distinguished guests of the AIRBFT Auto Show were honored with souvenirs presented by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi and Former Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Hameedullah Kazi,Adding to the grace of the occasion, Mr. Haseebullah Memon, Additional Director of the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC), joined in to extend the warm welcome and contribute to the festivities. Their presence and generosity in distributing these tokens of appreciation added an extra layer of significance to the event, creating cherished memories for all attendees.

United Bank Limited (UBL) Recruitment Drive at ISRA University - A Gateway to Career Success!

Recruitment Drive of United Bank Limited (UBL) at Isra University, arranged by Career Development Center under Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), held on 15th January, at ORIC Secretariat, Isra University, Hyderabad.

In an impactful recruitment drive organized by the Career Development Center under the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at Isra University, United Bank Limited (UBL) sought out potential candidates for the role of Relationship Manager. On the 15th of January, at the ORIC Secretariat in Isra University, Hyderabad. Mr. Haseebullah Memon, Additional Director, ORIC, decorated the guest speaker with traditional souvenirs. The event welcomed an impressive turnout of 15 enthusiastic candidates from the MBA and BBA programs and out of which 6 candidates are shortlisted for round 2.
The vibrant UBL team, led by Noman Ahmed Baig, District Operation Manager (DOM), and Sheeraz Akhtar Kazi, District Manager (DM), actively engaged with the participants, providing valuable insights into the bank's work culture and potential career pathways. A session on “Cyber Security Awareness” - 11th January 20224
On the direction of the honorable Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi, the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization, in collaboration with the IT department, hosted a significant “Cyber Security Awareness” session on 11th January at Asadullah Kazi Auditorium, Isra University, Hyderabad.
Our esteemed Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi, warmly welcomed participants, expressing gratitude for their collective commitment to strengthening our digital resilience. In his opening address, he underscored the significance of cybersecurity in today's rapidly evolving technological landscape and acknowledged the invaluable insights the distinguished speakers would impart. He recognized the pressing need for a robust cybersecurity framework and emphasized the shared responsibility in creating a secure digital environment within our institution.
The session featured insights from five distinguished speakers, including representatives from the Federal Investigation Agency. Mr. Aamir Ali, Assistant Director (FIA), Saeed Ahmed Shaikh, Inspector (FIA), Mr. Sajid Hakim, Assistant Sub Inspector (FIA), Ms. Shehnila Sahar, Advocate, and Mr. Asghar Ali, Senior software engineer.
The experts provided valuable real-world perspectives on the dynamic landscape of cyber threats and preventive measures. To honor their contributions, our esteemed Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi, along with the Additional Director, ORIC, Haseebullah Memon, and the Director of IT, Hafiz Tariq, presented souvenirs to the guests.
