Isra University Welcomes New Students at Fall 2026 Orientation Ceremony

Isra University organized an Orientation Ceremony on 14 September 2026 to welcome newly admitted students of the Fall 2026 session and introduce them to the University’s academic environment, facilities, support services, and the opportunities available to them throughout their university journey.

The orientation ceremony was organized for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and BS English programs.

The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthem, creating a respectful and meaningful atmosphere as the students officially began a new chapter of their academic lives.

Welcoming the students on behalf of Isra University, Mr. Salman Bajwa, Additional Director Admissions, extended his warm greetings and provided an overview of the University, highlighting its academic programs, modern facilities, learning environment, and the wide range of opportunities available for students’ academic and professional development.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi, Vice Chancellor, Isra University, also addressed the students and briefed them about the Isra Institute Foundation (IIF) and Isra University Hyderabad. He encouraged the students to take full advantage of the opportunities available at the University, remain dedicated to their studies, and make their university experience meaningful and productive.

Prof. Dr. Syed Muhammad Fahim, Dean FBESSH, also addressed the students and congratulated them on beginning this new and important journey.

The orientation session also introduced students to various University departments and support services that contribute to their academic and personal development. Representatives from different departments delivered informative briefings, helping students understand the resources and facilities available to them.

Mr. Zain-ul-Abideen Memon, Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad, Graces Dengue Awareness Seminar at Isra University

Isra University, Hyderabad, organized a Dengue Awareness Walk, Technical Session, and Awareness Seminar on September 9, 2026, to raise awareness about dengue fever, its prevention, early detection, and the importance of community participation in controlling the spread of the disease.

The programme commenced with a Dengue Awareness Walk from Academic Block-A to the Asadullah Kazi Auditorium, bringing together university faculty, students, medical professionals, and distinguished guests to demonstrate their collective commitment to dengue prevention and public health awareness. Dr. Syed Mushtaque Ahmed Shah, Deputy Director General, Health Services, Vector-Borne Diseases, along with officials from the Health Department, also participated in the walk.

Upon arrival at the university, the Chief Guest, Mr. Zain-ul-Abideen Memon, Deputy Commissioner, Hyderabad, and the Guest of Honour, Dr. Pir Ghulam Hussain Shah, District Health Officer, Hyderabad, met with Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi, Worthy Vice Chancellor, Isra University, at the Vice Chancellor’s Office. The meeting provided an opportunity for the distinguished guests and university leadership to exchange views on public health awareness and the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing dengue and other community health concerns.

Following the meeting, the Technical Session and Awareness Seminar commenced at the Asadullah Kazi Auditorium, featuring informative presentations and discussions by distinguished international and national medical experts. The international speakers included Dr. Ayaz Samdhani, Renowned Physician, USA, and Dr. Haider Ali Talpur, Renowned Physician, UK, while the national speaker was Dr. Ramesh Kumar, Medical Officer, THQ Hospital Nagarparkar. Lt. Col. Dr. Azam, CMH Hyderabad, also delivered an informative talk.

The technical session focused on dengue prevention, public health measures, early detection, awareness, and the important role of individuals and communities in reducing the spread of the disease.

World Physiotherapy Day 2026

A memorable celebration of World Physiotherapy Day 2026 was held on 8th September 2026 at Isra University Hospital, Hyderabad, to promote awareness about the importance of physiotherapy among patients, RHOs, and students.

The event was organized by Dr. Aiman Iftikhar, Dr. Isra Ilyas, and Dr. Syed Khizer Abbas, Consultants Physiotherapists, and attended by honourable guests Prof. Dr. Naveed Kazi, Prof. Dr. Sajjad Kazi, Prof. Dr. Salman Kazi, and Prof. Dr. Yaar Muhammad, along with senior doctors, staff, RHOs, and students.

The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Dr. Zahid, followed by the National Anthem. The event was moderated by Dr. Isra Ilyas PT, Dr. Anosha Qureshi PT, and Dr. Huda PT.

The celebration featured an engaging quiz by Dr. Aiman Iftikhar, goodies bags, and a creative thumb-painting activity, making the event educational and interactive. Prof. Dr. Yaar Muhammad shared valuable insights on the significance of physiotherapy, followed by closing remarks from Prof. Dr. Naveed Kazi and an encouraging message for RHOs and DPT students by Prof. Dr. Sajjad Kazi.

🎂 The celebration concluded with cake cutting to mark World Physiotherapy Day.

As part of the celebration, a Free Physiotherapy Camp was also organized at Isra University Hospital, Hyderabad, offering free physiotherapy consultation, assessment, and guidance to patients. The camp focused on raising awareness about physiotherapy, rehabilitation, mobility, function, and improving mobility, function, independence, and quality of life. The initiative reflected Isra University Hospital’s commitment to community care and rehabilitation awareness.

Under the guidance and instructions of Director Isra University Hospital, Prof. Dr. Sajjad Kazi, the team of Isra University Hospital had the privilege of visiting Dar-ul-Sukoon today to extend medical care, compassion, and support to its residents.

The day began with a warm welcome and a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by medical consultations and assessments of the residents by our specialist doctors. The team provided medical guidance and recommendations according to the individual needs of the patients.

Alongside medical care, we shared meaningful moments with the residents and distributed gifts among them, bringing smiles and creating moments of happiness. 🎁🤍

The visit was not only about diagnosis and treatment; it was about reaching out, listening, connecting, and reminding every individual that they are valued and cared for.

Isra University organized an Orientation Ceremony held on 31st of August 2026 for the newly admitted students of the Fall 2026 session, welcoming them into the University community and introducing them to the academic environment, facilities, support services, and opportunities that await them.

The orientation brought together students enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering programs in Electrical, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering; BS Computer Science with specializations in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science; BS Information Technology; BS Software Engineering; and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).

The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the National Anthem, setting a meaningful and respectful tone for the beginning of the students’ academic journey.
