Isra University, Hyderabad, marked its presence at the Pakistan Hindu Council (PHC) Job Fair & Education Expo 4.0, held at the Karachi Expo Center. The university’s participation highlighted its commitment to providing quality higher education and fostering direct career pathways for the youth.

The participation was carried out under the visionary leadership and directives of the Vice Chancellor, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗞𝗮𝘇𝗶. This successful activity was made possible through the dedicated support and strategic guidance of 𝗠𝗿. 𝗡𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗤𝗮𝘇𝗶 and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗛𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝘀𝗶𝗻 from the Human Capital team, ensuring a highly professional and impactful institutional presence.

The Isra University stall served as a central hub for both prospective students and job seekers. Representing the institution, the delegation—comprising 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝘀𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝗥𝗮𝗷𝗽𝘂𝘁, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗠𝗶𝗿 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗽𝘂𝗿, and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗞𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗸𝗵—actively engaged with visitors, providing comprehensive counseling on academic programs and admission requirements.

In addition to academic outreach, the event served as a major recruitment platform. The team successfully 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗩𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀, bridging the gap between academia and the professional world.

By participating in this large-scale expo, Isra University continues to strengthen its community outreach and demonstrate its unwavering dedication to the professional development and academic excellence of the region's future leaders.

Isra University had the honor of welcoming Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Chairman, Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (Sitara-e-Imtiaz), accompanied by Mr. Sulaiman Ahmad, Regional Incharge HEC Karachi, Mr. Jamshaid Soomro, Assistant Director HEC Karachi, and Mr. Niaz Ahmed, PEC Head, on April 21, 2026.

During the visit, he held a meeting with Prof. Dr. Hameedullah Kazi, Chancellor Isra University and President & CEO Isra Islamic Foundation, and Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi, Vice Chancellor Isra University, where matters pertaining to academic development and institutional progress were discussed.

Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Chairman HEC also inaugurated the Medical Intensive Care Unit, High Dependency Unit, and Neuro Stroke Unit. The visit concluded with an interactive session with faculty members at the Asadullah Kazi Auditorium, fostering meaningful academic dialogue. Souvenirs were also presented to the distinguished guests as a token of appreciation.

Isra University extends its sincere appreciation for the visit and the continued support towards advancing higher education and healthcare.

Continuous Medical Education program at Isra University Hospital Hyderabad

On April 17, 2026, the section of Gastroenterology, Department of medicine at Isra University Hospital Hyderabad organized a cme program on "Role of Elobixibat in chronic constipation". The event aimed to promote understanding mechanisms of action and clinical use of this new drug in patients who are suffering with constipation from prolonged period.

The program was organized by prof. Prem Kumar Maheshwari , professor of Gastroenterology and hepatology. Dr. Amna batool Memon, postgraduates student , talked on the pathophysiology and treatment options for constipation. Dr. Prem kumar highlighted the importance of Elobixibat in chronic constipation.
The talk was concluded by insightful remarks of Prof. Muhammad Adnan Bawany, Chairman, Department of medicine and Prof. Muhammad Akbar Memon, Professor of Medicine.
The session was moderated efficiently by Dr. Syeda Alishba Zaidi, house officer at isra university hospital hyderabad.
Dr. Sajjad kazi, Director, isra university hospital was the guest of honor.
The souvenirs were distributed among the guests of honor, chairperson, speakers and moderator by Dr. Prem kumar, Prof. M. Akbar Memon, Dr. Moomal bhutto and Dr. Hafsa urooj.

Faculty members, postgraduate trainees, and house officers actively participated in the event, showing their commitment to improving knowledge and keeping them updated with the latest molecules.

اسرا یونیورسٹی ہسپتال حیدرآباد نے جامشورو کی علاقے سن میں لوکل کمیونٹی کے تعاون سے ایک روزہ فری جنرل میڈیکل کیمپ کا انعقاد کیا، جس کا مقصد سن کے لوگوں کو قابل رسائی اور بہترین صحت کی خدمات فراہم کرنا تھا

تقریباً 1,500 مریضوں کا فری معائنہ کیا گیا۔
- فری دوائیوں کے ساتھ تمام مریضوں کو تجویز کردہ دوائیوں کی علاوہ ٹیسٹ جس میں ٹی بی اور ڈائابٹیز کے ٹیسٹ، اور فری الٹراساؤنڈ کی مفت خدمات فراہم کی گئیں
