The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), Isra University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nexskill Karachi on 21st May 2026 at the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat, Isra University. The Worthy Vice Chancellor formally signed the MoU, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi, reaffirming the university’s commitment to promoting innovation, professional skill development, and industry-academia collaboration.

Mr. Yasir Baloch represented NeXskill at the MoU signing, while ORIC Isra University played a key role, represented by Kamran Khowaja, PhD, Director ORIC, Prof. Dr. Suhail Kazi, Dean FES&T, Mr. Haseebullah Memon, Additional Director ORIC, and Dr. Amber Baig, Chairperson, Computer Science Department. The agreement marks the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at advancing innovation-driven capacity building and industry-aligned technical development within the university.

Through this collaboration, Isra University ORIC aims to strengthen the academic and professional ecosystem on campus by providing students and faculty with access to specialized training, mentorship, and industry-driven learning opportunities in Game Design and Development. The partnership with NeXskill is expected to enhance student career readiness through elective courses, professional diplomas, and paid internships, promoting the growth of technology-enabled and innovation-led talent emerging from Isra University.
