Isra University Signs MoU with Impress Motorcycle to Strengthen IndustryβAcademia Collaboration
The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), Isra University, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Impress Motorcycle on 21st July 2026 at the Vice Chancellor's Secretariat, Isra University, Hyderabad. The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi, Worthy Vice Chancellor, Isra University, reaffirming the University's commitment to strengthening industry-academia collaboration, fostering innovation, and creating meaningful opportunities for student and institutional development.
The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from both organizations. Impress Motorcycle was represented by Mr. Muhammad Sohaib Chohan, Director of Marketing (on behalf of the Managing Director, Impress Motorcycle), and Mr. Anees Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Impress Motorcycle. Representing ORIC, Isra University were Prof. Dr. Kamran Khowaja, Director ORIC, Mr. Saqib Ismail, Manager Alumni, and Mr. Syed Zohaib Ali, Assistant Manager ORIC.
The MoU marks the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening collaboration between academia and industry through mutually beneficial initiatives. Under this partnership, both organizations will collaborate on internships, career development programs, industrial visits, professional training, knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and industry engagement activities, enabling students to gain practical exposure while enhancing their professional and technical competencies.
Through this collaboration, Isra University and Impress Motorcycle will work together to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, promote innovation, and prepare graduates with the skills and experience needed to excel in the rapidly evolving automotive and industrial sectors.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi emphasized the importance of strong industry-academia partnerships in equipping students with practical knowledge, fostering innovation, and enhancing graduate employability. The collaboration reflects ORIC's continued commitment to building sustainable partnerships that contribute to research, innovation, and the socio-economic development of Pakistan.
