British Council Pakistan in collaboration with Roots International Schools held the biggest Education UK Exhibition this year at RIS Wellington campus. The Education UK Exhibition is a popular annual and the most awaited platform that connects UK higher education institutions with prospective students from Pakistan. The 2016 tour was an excellent opportunity to meet with representatives of leading UK universities and gain first-hand information regarding higher education in the UK; admission criteria; admission requirements; courses and subjects on offer; life in UK as a student and more. All prospective students, parents, career acceleration officers, faculty and educational managers were invited to participate in the exhibition and to explore higher education options and international collaboration avenues in the United Kingdom.
The UK is a top study destination for students considering an international education and has four of the world’s top ten universities. UK education institutions have a strong reputation for research and offer students world–class education in a variety of fields as well as exposure to a multi-cultural learning and social environment. Through Education UK Exhibition Tour students from A-level and IB Diploma Programme gathered first-hand information about the various study options available to them at Russell Group universities. The representatives were available to provide students with advice and guidance as they plan to embark on higher education opportunities.
