The Department of Civil Engineering is pleased to invite you to attend an online workshop on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) System. This workshop is being organized to enhance understanding and implementation of OBE practices in line with accreditation requirements and modern educational standards.

Workshop Schedule:

Day 1: 25-03-2026 (11:00 AM – 02:00 PM)
Day 2: 26-03-2026 (11:00 AM – 02:00 PM)
Day 3: 30-03-2026 (02:00 PM – 05:00 PM)

Resource Person:
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Syed Mushahid Hussain Hashmi
(Professor, NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi)

Professor Dr. Hashmi is a distinguished academic and an expert in Outcome-Based Education, with extensive experience in conducting OBE training and contributing to accreditation processes with PEC and NTC-HEC.

The workshop will cover key aspects of OBE, including its implementation framework, Bloom’s Taxonomy, assessment strategies, and continuous quality improvement.

Note: Attendance in all sessions is mandatory for all faculty members.

Engr. Hammad Ullah Khan Yousafzai successfully defended his MS Civil Engineering thesis titled "Development of Smart Groundwater Monitoring System for Real-Time Assessment of Managed Aquifer Recharge" on 30th August 2024.
His research was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Khan Zaib Jadoon, with Dr. Rashid Farooq serving as the Internal Examiner and Dr. Ghufran Ahmed Pasha, Assistant Professor at UET Taxila, as the External Examiner.
Hammad Ullah Khan is the first MS graduate from the Department of Civil Engineering (DCE).
