The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “Whoever performs ghusl on Friday, purifies himself as much as possible, applies perfume, goes early to the mosque, prays what is written for him, and remains silent while the Imam delivers the sermon, his sins between that Friday and the next Friday will be forgiven.” (Sahih al-Bukhari: 883)
