BS HND Students Promoting Hygiene Awareness through Community Engagement 🌱
As part of the Civics and Community Engagement course, Amna Muhammad and her team members Aena Noor, Areeba Waheed, Alisha Imran, and Imaan Riaz had the opportunity to work closely with the Human Savior Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting orphaned children.
During their visit, the students conducted an interactive awareness session on personal hygiene. The activities included a counselling session focusing on the children’s existing knowledge about hygiene, encouraging them to draw hygiene-related pictures, and demonstrating proper handwashing techniques while guiding the children to practice them. To make the experience enjoyable and memorable, the team concluded the session by distributing chocolates among the children.
These community projects are part of the Civics and Community Engagement course and are being supervised by Dr. Aisha Jalil, Associate Professor at NSHS, reflecting the commitment to nurturing socially responsible and community-oriented students.
