Pukhtoon Students Council, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad strongly condemns the misuse of the name and platform of PSC by a self-proclaimed group for organizing an unauthorized event.

It is hereby clarified that Pukhtoon Students Council has neither organized, endorsed, nor has any affiliation whatsoever with the said event. Any activity being conducted under the name of PSC without the consent and approval of the official cabinet and platform is completely illegitimate and misleading.

All general body members of PSC are strictly directed not to participate in or support this unauthorized event. Furthermore, all respectable guests, students, and dignitaries are requested not to attend the event being falsely associated with Pukhtoon Students Council, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, as it is neither an official nor a recognized event of the organization.

PSC has always stood for responsible student representation, organizational discipline, and the protection of its credibility and values. Any attempt to misuse the organization’s name for personal interests is strongly condemned.

Statement of condemnation!

Pukhtoon Students Council strongly condemns the attack on Pakhtun students at Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan aka BZDU by goons of Islami Jamiat Tulaba IJT. Following a minor clash, armed goons of Jamiat launched an armed attack and open fired on peaceful students, creating atmosphere of fear and insecurity within an educational institution.

IJT has long been associated with use of violence in educational institutions, which is deeply concerning and unacceptable. Pukhtoon Students Council explicitly states that there is no space for violence in any form on campuses, where students should feel safe and secure.

In this critical time, Pukhtoon Students Council stands in complete solidarity with the students of BZDU and assures them of full support and assistance in every possible way.

In the face of rising violence and instability across the Pashtun belt, the Pukhtoon Students Council held a candle light vigil in front of the Central Library to honor the innocent lives lost in the recent terrorist attacks on the Bannu Police Stations, the mosque in Tehsil Shewa, Naurang Lakki Marwat, and other affected areas.
Pukhtoon Students Council strongly condemns the rising wave of terrorism across Pashtun belt.

The gathering stood as a symbol of grief, solidarity, and resistance against terrorism that continues to devastate our people and homeland. We condemn every act of violence targeting civilians, worship places, and public gatherings.

May the departed souls rest in peace, and may our collective voice become a call for justice, peace, and lasting stability in the region.

Pukhtoon Students Council QAU strongly condemns the cowardly terrorist attack on the Fateh Khel police post in Bannu district that took place on the night of May 9, 2026 followed by the cowardly attack on a mosque in Tehsil Shewa, North Waziristan on May, 11. We express our deepest grief over human loss of innocent civilians and police personnel.

These incidents are attack on the peace and stability of the entire Pashtun homeland. The blood of our sons is being spilled repeatedly in Bannu, Waziristan, DI Khan, Orakzai and other parts of Pakhtunkhwa. Such acts of terrorism have no religion, no nationality, and no justification. The enemies of Pashtuns — whether they hide behind the name of religion or any other ideology — are trying to destabilize our region once again.

Pukhtoon Students Council condems the Talibanisation of Erstwhile FATA and the overall Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which has brought great grief and destruction to the entire Pukhtoon nation.

We pay rich tribute to the martyrs of the Pashtun Watan. Our hearts go out to their families in this hour of immense grief.
In this regard, Pukhtoon Students Council is going to hold a Candle Light vigil in front of Central Library on tuesday May 12, 2026 at 6:00 pm.

Pukhtoon Students Council strongly condemns murder of a Pakhtun Merchant in RawalPindi. Later on Punjab Police illegally detained Family of the deceased.
Pukhtoon Students Council firmly stands with the relatives of the affectees and demands from relevant authorities to immediately release the family of deceased and to take action against those involved.

The Quaidian Students’ Federation, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, announces that it will expand its peaceful protest movement on May 10 through a protest march.

The march will begin from Pindi Point and proceed towards New MFC. A press conference will also be held at the venue where the federation will present its demands before the media. The event will conclude with resistance cultural performances and dances as an expression of solidarity and protest.

The Quaidian Students’ Federation appeals to all students to actively participate in the march and raise their voices for students’ rights.
