Hamdard University Islamabad Campus organized a seminar titled “Unveiling Pathways to Empowerment: Ignite Your Passion for Innovation & Change” on October 20, 2026.
Facilitated by the Faculties of Social Sciences and Management Sciences, under the leadership of Dr. Ansar Abbas, Associate Dean, the seminar brought together students, faculty members, and distinguished professionals to explore leadership, career development, entrepreneurship, and financial inclusion.
Mr. Zeeshan Ur Rehman Awan, brings over 20 years of professional experience working with foreign diplomatic missions. He shared valuable insights on leadership beyond graduation, emphasizing professional excellence, emotional intelligence, adaptability, effective communication, digital literacy, and lifelong learning.
Mr. Arshad Mehmood, brings 24 years of professional experience in social development, poverty alleviation, community development, livelihood enhancement, and Islamic microfinance. He highlighted the transformative role of interest-free microfinance in promoting entrepreneurship, strengthening sustainable livelihoods, and advancing inclusive economic empowerment.
The seminar commenced with a welcome address by Ms. Quraba Tul Naseem, Lecturer, while Prof. Dr. Ali Raza Hamid delivered the concluding remarks.
