Students of the 3rd Semester of BS Psychology program at Iqra University Chak Shahzad Campus visited Maimona Welfare Trust, Rawalpindi, as part of their Community Engagement Project for the Civics and Community Engagement course, under the supervision of Ms. Areeba Saleem. The visit aimed to enhance student's understanding of community welfare, social responsibility, and the practical application of psychological concepts in real-life settings. Through this hands-on experience, students developed empathy, civic awareness, and a deeper appreciation of inclusive community development. On the occasion of the International Day of Education, students of the Psychology Club at Iqra University Chak Shahzad Campus (IUCS) organized an awareness camp titled โ€œEducation and Mental Well-Being: Building Resilient Minds through Learning.โ€
The camp focused on promoting emotional intelligence, stress management, psychological resilience, self-awareness, and healthy coping strategies among students. Through interactive activities, counseling guidance, and informative discussions, the initiative emphasized the importance of mental well-being as a foundation for effective learning and personal growth. The activity was successfully conducted under the supervision of Ms. Rida E. Zehra, fostering a supportive and mentally healthy academic environment.
