“Institute of Rural Management (IRM), Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative (PYLI)”

Students of Abasyn University Islamabad Campus (AUIC) have successfully completed their PYLI Program, a British Council Based Project by IRM.

More than 35 students from different departments participated in this project which was started in August 2025. Our students have worked in groups on different categories including Waste Management, Water Conservation, Climate Education, Plantation Drive, Renewable Energy etc. On December 06, 2025 closing ceremony by IRM was conducted at IRM Headquarters, in which all the projects were exhibited and evaluated.

Alhamdulillah our students have grabbed the following positions:

1. Ms. Rubab Zaheer & Miss Laiba Bilal from Pharmacy Department secured Second Position with their project on “Water Conservation”.

2. Mr. Farooq Khan from Civil Engineering Department has secured Third Position with his project on “Climate Education”.

Our worthy Head of Campus, Prof. Dr. Bashir Khan appreciated the efforts of our students and arranged a Certificates Distribution Ceremony to acknowledge their hardwork.

We congratulate all the participanting students for successfully completing their project which continued almost up to 4 months.

We are really thankful and highly appreciate IRM for providing our students with this opportunity.
