Help Your Brother, Whether He is the Oppressor or the Oppressed
Allah’s Messengerصلى الله عليه وسلم said,
“Help your brother, whether he is the oppressor or the
oppressed one. People asked, O Allah’s Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم! How
can we help him if he is an oppressor? The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said,
“By preventing his hands from oppressing others.”
(Bukhari : 2444)
This Hadith highlights the concept of true brotherhood and responsibility
in Islam. It teaches us that helping someone doesn't only mean assisting
them in their struggles or needs, but also guiding them when they are in
the wrong. Supporting those who are wronged is an obligation in Islam. It involves
standing up for justice and ensuring the rights of the oppressed are restored.
True help for an oppressor is stopping them from committing injustice. This could mean advising them, preventing them from wrongdoing, or intervening in a way that redirects them to the right path. Use wisdom and kindness when correcting someone's wrong actions. Avoid enabling their oppression by staying silent or supporting unjust acts.

Do Good—Even a Smile Counts!
Allah’s Messengerصلى الله عليه وسلم said,
“Do not disdain any good deed, even if it is meeting your brother with a cheerful face.” (Muslim: 6690)
This hadith emphasizes the importance of even the smallest acts of kindness
and goodness. The Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم (teaches us that no good deed is insignificant, and we should never underestimate the impact of our actions.
A simple gesture, like greeting someone with a cheerful face, can uplift
others, strengthen bonds, and spread positivity.
This hadith highlights the value of good character, sincerity, and maintaining a positive attitude in our interactions with others, reinforcing the idea that kindness in any form is an essential part
of a believer’s life.

Never Forget to Remember Allah
in your Gatherings
Allah’s Messengerصلى الله عليه وسلم said, “Those who leave a gathering without mentioning Allah in it, leave it like a co**se of a donkey and this
(gathering) will be a means of remorse for them.”
(Abi-Dawud: 4855)
This hadith emphasizes the importance of remembering Allah in gatherings. It
compares a gathering where Allah is not mentioned to the co**se of a donkey—something impure, useless, and unpleasant. The hadith warns that such gatherings will lead to regret on the Day of Judgment because time was wasted on worldly talk without any spiritual benefit. It encourages believers to include dhikr (remembrance of Allah), gratitude, or meaningful discussions about faith in their gatherings to make them beneficial and blessed.

Be mindful of your speech
Allah’s Messengerصلى الله عليه وسلم said,
“A Momin is not the one who taunts, curses, speaks
indecently or abuses others.” (Ibn-Haban: 192)
The hadith emphasizes the importance of good manners and speech as key components of faith. A true believer is recognized not just by their worship but also by their interactions with others. Their behavior should reflect the teachings of Islam, fostering peace, kindness, and mutual respect.
Avoiding Taunts: A Momin does not use hurtful or sarcastic remarks to make others feel small or inferior. Taunting can damage relationships and create hostility, which goes against the spirit of unity and kindness promoted in Islam.Refraining from Cursing: Cursing involves invoking harm or ill wishes upon others. A believer
is expected to spread goodness, not hatred. Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم emphasized using our speech for positive and constructive purposes, not for negativity.
Speaking Decently: Indecent or vulgar language reflects poor character and can lead to moral corruption. A Momin’s speech should always be clean, respectful, and beneficial, inspiring others to goodness.
Avoiding Abuse:A Momin does not verbally or physically abuse others. Islam teaches respect for every
individual’s dignity, regardless of their background or status.
This hadith is a reminder for self-reflection on how we use our words and actions in daily life.

Do not laugh excessively
Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said,
“Do not laugh excessively; indeed, too much laughter makes the heart dead”.
(Ibn-e-Majah: 4193)
It is human nature to enjoy a good joke and laugh. Islam does not prohibit this; it does not expect us to be strict and serious all the time. It allows laughter and humor. However, there are limits. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم ) has forbidden us from joking too much because it deadens the heart.
The reason for prohibition is that excessive laughter makes people take life less seriously, and they begin to see humor in everything. Thus, moderation is required
even in humor.
