Dear Valued Student

In accordance with the guidelines of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has implemented a policy requiring all students admitted to AIOU academic programs from the Autumn 2024 semester onwards to submit an attested copy of their terminal qualification.
The terminal qualification refers to the academic certificate or degree on the basis of which the student has been granted admission to the respective AIOU program. The attestation of the terminal qualification must be obtained from the relevant authority, as applicable:

Matriculation: Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC)
Intermediate (FA/FSc or equivalent): Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC)
Bachelor's Degree: Higher Education Commission (HEC)
Master's Degree: Higher Education Commission (HEC)

Students are required to submit an attested copy of their terminal qualification for verification and record purposes in accordance with the applicable guidelines.

Please submit your terminal degree following the procedure as soon as possible.
