ایڈمنسٹریشن نے ایک دن پہلے ایم فل مسجد والے گیٹ کو بند کیا تھا لیکن کل رات درجن کے قریب سیکورٹی گارڈز کی موجودگی کے باوجود کچھ نامعلوم طلبا نے اسے زبردستی کھولا تھا ۔  اب انتظامیہ گیٹ کے دونوں جانب دیوار تعمیر کروا رہی ہیں جبکہ درجن کے قریب سیکورٹی گارڈز دیوار کی حفاظت پہ مامور ہیں۔
اب دیکھنا یہ ہے کہ دیوار کتنی دیر تک ٹِھک پاتی ہیں۔

The improvement policy of QAU

Consider two students. Student A scores 60 marks, which equals to 2.0 GPA, while Student B scores 50 marks which equals to 1.0 GPA.

Under the current rule, Student B is allowed to improve their paper and may increase their marks to 80 (4.0 GPA). However, Student A, despite already performing better with 60 marks, is not allowed to improve and remains stuck at 2.0 GPA.

This creates an unfair situation where a student who initially scored lower has the opportunity to achieve a much higher GPA, while a student who scored higher is denied the same chance.

How does it make any sense that the lower-scoring student is rewarded with a second chance while the higher-scoring student is punished for doing slightly better? This policy doesn't promote merit rather it penalizes it. It sends the message that scoring a little higher can actually leave you worse off than scoring lower.

The solution is that to allow every student who passes a course to attempt one improvement exam, with the highest score counting toward the final GPA or don't allow anyone to improve their marks except who failed the course.
