پاڪستان جي نالي وارين يونيورسٽين جيان liaquat university of medical and health sciences به تعليمي معيار ۾ 95% بهتري آڻي پنهنجو نالو پاڪستان جي ٽاپ يونيورسٽين ۾ لکرائي ورتو.
لمس يونيورسٽي ۾ هر ٽين، چوٿئين سال Vice Chancellorجي تبديلي ٿيندي رهندي آهي جيڪا هڪ عام ڳالهه آهي، باوجود ان جي يونيورسٽي ڪيترن ئي مسئلن جي ور چڙهيل رهندي آهي، پر هاڻوڪي يونيورسٽي جي وائيس چانسلر پروفيسر ڊاڪٽر اڪرام الدين اڄڻ جي اچڻ کانپوءِ يونيورسٽي ۾ پڙهائي تي توجه سان گڏوگڏ يونيورسٽيءَ جي معيار ۾ به ڪافي بهتري آئي آهي، ان کان اڳ شاگردن توڙي يونيورسٽي جي عملي جا يونيورسٽي انتظاميا بابت ڪافي معاملن تي شڪايتن جا انبار پڻ لڳل هوندا هئا جنهن کي پڻ موجوده وائيس چانسلر پنهنجو آئيني فرض سمجهي سمورا مسئلا ختم ڪرايا جنهن ۾ نياڻي جي هاسلٽن جو مسئلو پڻ هڪ سنگين مسئلو هو.
وائيس چانسلر ڊاڪٽر اڪرام الدين اڄڻ کان اڳ لمس يونيورسٽي اندر سياسي مداخلت تمام گهڻي وڌي وئي هئي جنهن سبب يونيورسٽي زوال جو شڪار بڻي ۽ يونيورسٽين ۾ شاگردن جي داخلائن ۾ ميرٽ جي لتاڙ ٿيندي جنهن سبب غريب مسڪين جو ٻار وڏين مارڪن سان پاس ٿيڻ باوجود پنهنجي حق کان رهجي ويندو هو.
سال 2023ع ۾ جڏهن پروفيسر ڊاڪٽر اڪرام الدين اڄڻ لمس يونيورسٽي جو وائيس چانسلر بڻيو تنهن يونيورسٽي ۾ اچڻ شرط ئي هڪ mechanism جوڙيو ۽ يونيورسٽيءَ مان سياسي ڪلچر ختم ڪري ميرٽ جي بنيادن تي شاگردن کي پنهنجو جائز حق ڏنائي، اُهي شاگرد اڄ به يونيورسٽي اندر تعليم حاصل ڪري رهيا آهن.
لمس يونيورسٽين سان گڏوگڏ Diagnostic and Research Laboratory جيڪا سنڌ سرڪار کاتي سان منسلڪ آهي جنهن جو باني پڻ Prof. Dr Ikram Din Ujjan آهي، ڊاڪٽر اڪرام الدين اڄڻ جي اها ڪوشش دنيا آڏو تاحيات رهندي جنهن سنڌ جي اندر هڪ وڏي پئماني تي سستي ليبارٽري جو بنياد وجهي غريبن کي مهانگين ليبارٽرين جي ڳرين فين کان جان آجي ڪرائي هڪ سستي ۽ معياري ليبارٽري وجود ۾ آڻي ڏني.
Diagnostic and Research Laboratory مان ساليانو لکين ماڻهو مستفيد ٿين ٿا ۽ سنڌ سرڪار جي مقرر ڪيل سستي اگهن تي محدود وقت اندر مريضن کي ميڊيڪل رپورٽس مهيا ڪيون وڃن ٿيون جيڪا پڻ ساراهه جوڳي حال آهي.
