The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, University of Education, Lahore – Jauharabad Campus, proudly shares that its M.Phil. scholars successfully presented 08 research papers at the Second International Conference on Transforming Higher Education in Pakistan, hosted by the University of Malakand on 13–14 May 2026.
The scholars represented the campus through impactful oral presentations under the supervision of Dr. Rehmat Shah (Assistant Professor, Department of ELPS), who also presented his own research papers at the conference.

Asjad Abbas: Bridging the Gap Between Technology and Finance (2021–2025)
Asjad’s professional journey began in the I.T. Labs of University of Education, where he spent 2021 to 2025 mastering the world of digital systems and information technology. Today, he has successfully pivoted into the heart of the financial sector.
Currently, Asjad is serving as a Cashier/Teller at The Bank of Punjab (Dharogan Wala Branch, Lahore). In this role, he brings his technical precision and analytical mindset to the fast-paced world of banking operations, ensuring every transaction is handled with the accuracy of an IT professional.
From troubleshooting code to managing financial assets, Asjad’s journey is a testament to versatility and the drive to excel in new challenges.

A seminar entitled “Youm-e-Marka Haq” was organized by the Student Counselling Center, University of Education, Jauharabad Campus, on Thursday, 07 May 2026, at 11:30 A.M. in the Multipurpose Hall. The keynote speaker of the seminar was Dr. Sana Ullah, who delivered an informative lecture on the significance of Youm-e-Marka Haq and highlighted the importance of courage, sacrifice, patriotism, and national unity. He stated that such historic occasions remind the nation, especially the youth, of their responsibilities toward the progress, peace, and stability of Pakistan. He further emphasized the role of education, discipline, and unity in strengthening the country and encouraged students to contribute positively to society through responsible citizenship. The seminar was attended by faculty members and students with great interest and enthusiasm. At the end of the seminar, Worthy Principal of the campus concluded the session by highlighting the important points discussed during the seminar and appreciated the efforts of the Student Counselling Center for organizing such a meaningful event. The seminar ended with a note of thanks to the honorable speaker, organizers, faculty members, and participants.

"Academic Excellence in Action"
The Department of Education, University of Education Jauharabad Campus, successfully organized an insightful seminar titled “Beyond Borders: A Comparative Exploration of Global Higher Education Policies” under the supervision of Dr. Rehmat Shah (Assistant Professor & Seminar Organizer).
The seminar promoted research culture, critical thinking, and academic engagement among MPhil and B.Ed students through interactive presentations and scholarly discussions.
The honorable Muhammad Essa Lali, CEO District Education Authority Khushab, attended as the Chief Guest and delivered a thought-provoking keynote address. Prof. Dr. Ikram Ullah, Principal UE Jauharabad Campus, highly appreciated the initiative and encouraged such meaningful academic activities for students’ intellectual and professional growth. Working as an QCO ( Quality Control Officer ) in PostEx Warehouse Islamabad.

Introduction:
My name is Syed Mehdi Raza. I completed my academic session from 2017 to 2021. Currently, I am working as an QCO Officer in CS and Sales Department Of PostEx Islamabad, where I am responsible for overseeing and managing all SOP's , Working as a checker and improver of work quality. Our main role is to make sure everything is accurate, professional, and follows SOPs.Logistics Startups like PostEx may expand globally later, but right now their strength is local eCommerce Logistics.

My student life at UE During the 2017–2021 session was a highly valuable and transformative experience. It was a period of learning, growth, and building a strong foundation for my professional career. Along with academic knowledge, I developed important skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and discipline, which have greatly helped me in my professional journey.
