The Pakistan Meteorological Department has confirmed that a rare Blood Moon will be visible in Pakistan for the very first time during a total lunar eclipse on the night of September 7–8, 2025.

The celestial event will begin at 8:28 pm with the penumbral phase, followed by a partial eclipse at 9:27 pm, reaching its peak at 11:12 pm when the moon will glow deep red. The total eclipse will end at 1:55 am, lasting for an impressive 5 hours and 27 minutes overall.

Astronomers explain that the red glow occurs as sunlight filters through Earth’s atmosphere and reflects onto the lunar surface.

This rare sight will not only be visible in Pakistan but also across Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, and parts of the Pacific Ocean. Skywatchers are encouraged to observe the event, which can be safely viewed with the naked eye.

Ashfaq Ahmed's quote, "Jitna mil jaye, qubool kar lena chahiye, ho sakta hai ke yeh bhi humari aukat se zyada ho," resonates deeply with the idea of humility and contentment.

It reminds us to appreciate what life offers, no matter how small it seems, and be grateful for it. In a world full of competition and comparison, true happiness lies in accepting what we have and finding peace within it.

This perspective encourages us to embrace simplicity and appreciate the blessings that come our way.
