Located at the Indus Hospital & Health Network’s Korangi Campus, the Indus University of Health Sciences (IUHS) aims to provide quality education in order to create a pool of precious human capital like doctors, nurses, pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals. Indus University of Health Sciences was granted a Charter through an Act of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh in 2015. Indus University of Health Sciences is composed of seven colleges: Indus College of Nursing & Midwifery, Indus College of Medical Technology & Allied Health, Indus College of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation, Indus Medical College, Indus College of Family Medicine and Public Health, Indus College of Dentistry, Indus College of Pharmacy. The Indus College of Nursing & Midwifery, Indus College of Family Medicine and Public Health, Indus College of Medical Technology & Allied Health and Indus College of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation are currently functional.

A proud moment for nursing research! 🔬📚

Our Post-RN students Nafees Fatima and Sonia Devanand, under the mentorship of Asst. Professor Syeda Uzma Paiam Bukhari, secured 3rd position at a research presentation held at Fazaia Ruth Pfau Medical College, earning a shield and cash prize.

Our BSN students Sara and Asma also represented IUHS at the event. As the only nursing participants on a predominantly medical platform, this achievement is a meaningful recognition of nursing research and academic excellence.

ICoNM proudly represented IUHS at SIMPACT & SIMVENTION 2026, hosted by the Centre for Innovation in Medical Education (CIME), Aga Khan University, Karachi.

Under the mentorship of Asst. Prof. Syeda Uzma Paiam Bukhari, two ICoNM projects earned international recognition:

🔹 SIMPACT 2026: “Readiness of Healthcare Faculty for Artificial Intelligence Integration in Simulation-Based Education: A Qualitative Study” was selected for presentation.

🔹 SIMVENTION 2026: “Ranchhor PediCare VR”, developed and presented by Ranchhor, GBSN VII scholar, was selected for showcase through the international review process.

A proud milestone for IUHS and ICoNM, reflecting our growing focus on research, innovation and technology-driven healthcare education.
