Job Opportunity at the Department of Political Science, Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology, Abdul Haq Campus, Karachi.

The Department of Political Science at Federal Urdu University for Arts, Science and Technology invites applications for the positions of Contractual and Part-time Teachers.

We are seeking qualified candidates with an M.Phil or PhD in Political Science to apply within the next three days during office hours. Interested individuals should submit their certificates and relevant documents along with their applications.

An inspiring day for the final-year students of the Department of Political Science, FUUAST, as they visited the Election Commission of Pakistan (Sindh)!

The visit featured an insightful session with Chief Election Commissioner Sindh, Mr. Sharif Ullah Khan, Additional Election Commissioner Mr. Sain Bux, the dynamic DG Establishment Mr. Abdullah Shah, and other distinguished ECP officials.

Students had the unique opportunity to observe and analyze the administrative framework of the ECP firsthand.

The highlight? Receiving the Election Commission Act booklets as a thoughtful gesture from the CEC Sindh!

A huge thank you to the ECP Sindh team for their exceptional professionalism, warm hospitality, and the memorable arrangements made for our students.

This visit wasn't just educational, it was truly inspiring as well for the students!

شعبہ سیاسیات کی جانب سے یومِ پاکستان کے موقع پر پچھلے سال کی طرح اس سال بھی شعبہ کے طالب علموں کے درمیان تقریری مقابلے کا انعقاد کیا جارہا ہے۔

تقریری مقابلے کے لیے "پاکستان کا نظریاتی مستقبل اور نوجوان" جیسے غور طلب اور فکری موضوع کا انتخاب کیا گیا ہے۔ اس مقابلے کا مقصد طالب علموں میں خود اعتمادی پیدا کرنا، اپنے مستقبل کے لیے فکری سوچ اور مطالعہ کو فروغ دینا ہے۔

صدر شعبہ سیاسیات ڈاکٹر اسماعیل موسیٰ صاحب کی ریٹائرمنٹ کے موقع پر شعبہ کے اساتذہ اور طلبہ کی جانب سے الوداعی تقریب کا اہتمام کیا گیا۔ تقریب میں رجسٹرار جامعہ اردو ڈاکٹر روبینہ مشتاق، رئیس کلیہ فنون ڈاکٹر ضیاء الدین، دیگر محترم و سینئیر اساتذہ کے ساتھ ساتھ شعبہ کے تمام طالب علموں نے شرکت کی۔ اس موقع پر مہمانانِ خصوصی اور طلبہ نے استاد محترم کے ساتھ گزارے گئے وقت کے حوالے سے اظہار خیال کیا اور انکی خدمات کے لیے انہیں خراج تحسین پیش کیا۔

محترم استاد ڈاکٹر اسماعیل موسیٰ صاحب کی شعبہ اور جامعہ کے لیے خدمات مثالی ہیں، انکی معاونت سے شعبہ سیاسیات آج ایک منفرد مقام کا حامل ہے۔ شعبہ کے طالب علموں یا اساتذہ کی جانب سے اگر کوئی بھی مثبت قدم اٹھایا گیا تو استاد محترم نے سراہنے کے ساتھ ساتھ مکمل تعاون بھی کیا۔ طالب علموں اور شعبہ کے مسائل کے حل کے لیے ہمیشہ کوشاں رہے۔ ان کی خدمات اور مثالی کردار کے لیے شعبہ اور طالب علم ہمیشہ ان کے مشکور رہیں گے۔

On the occasion of Pakistan Day, a speech competition was organized by the Department of Political Science. The students participated enthusiastically and impressed the audience with their speeches. Shields were also distributed among the students who gave the best speeches on the occasion. The aim of the speech competition is to develop leadership skills in the students and encourage them to think about the future of Pakistan.

March 23, 1940, is a milestone in our national history. On this day our great leaders and esteemed elders passed the Pakistan Resolution which united the Muslims of the subcontinent for a clear and important cause, The cause of the establishment of Pakistan.

یوم پاکستان کے موقع پر شعبہ سیاسیات کی جانب سے تقریری مقابلے کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ طالب علموں نے بھرپور دلچسپی سے شرکت کی اور اپنی تقاریر کے ذریعے سامعین کو متاثر کیا۔ اس موقع پر بہترین تقاریر کرنے والے طالب علموں میں شعبہ کی جانب سے شیلڈز بھی تقسیم کی گئیں۔ تقریری مقابلے کا مقصد طالب علموں کی قائدانہ صلاحیتوں کو نکھارنا اور انہیں پاکستان کے مستقبل کے بارے میں غورو فکر کرنے پر راغب کرنا ہے۔

23 مارچ 1940 کا دن ہماری قومی تاریخ میں ایک سنگ میل کی حیثیت رکھتا ہے۔ اس روز ہمارے عظیم رہنماؤوں اور معتبر بزرگوں نے قرارداد پاکستان منظور کی جس نے برصغیر کے مسلمانوں کو ایک واضح اور اہم مقصد کے لیے متحد کردیا اور یہی مقصد آگے چل کر قیام پاکستان کا سبب بنا۔ گوکہ اس قرارداد کو کئی برس گزر چکے ہیں لیکن آنے والے ہر سال کا یہ دن ہمیں اپنے عظیم رہنماؤوں کی قربانیوں اور انتھک کاوشوں کی یاددہانی کرواتا ہے۔

تقریری مقابلہ انشاءاللّٰہ 22 مارچ 2022 کو وفاقی اردو جامعہ، عبدالحق کیمپس کے سیمینار ہال میں منعقد کیا جارہا۔ شعبہ سیاسیات کی تمام کلاسز سے تعلق رکھنے والے طالب علموں کو تقریب میں شرکت کرنے کی دعوت دی جارہی ہے۔ تقریری مقابلے میں حصّہ لینے والے طالب علم اپنی کلاس کے سی آر سے رابطہ کرکے اپنا نام درج کروا سکتے ہیں۔

شعبہ سیاسیات کی جانب سے عبدالحق کیمپس میں منعقدہ ہفتۂ صفائی کے موقع پر طالب علموں نے چارٹ پیپرز پر مختلف متاثر کن جملے تحریر کرکے انہیں شعبہ میں مختلف مقامات پر چسپاں کیا۔ طالب علموں کی جانب سے کی گئی اس سرگرمی کا مقصد صفائی کی اہمیت پر ذور دینا اور ماحول کو صاف رکھنے کے حوالے سے شعور کو بیدار کرنا ہے۔

خوشگوار اور صاف ستھرے ماحول میں رہنا ہر انسان کی اوّلین ترجیح ہوتی ہے، خوشگوار اور صاف ستھرا ماحول طالب علموں کے دل اور دماغ پر مثبت اثرات مرتب کرتا ہے اور یہی مثبت اثرات انہیں اپنے تعلیمی عمل کو بہتر بنانے میں معاون ثابت ہوتے ہیں۔
