The Department of Mass Communication of the University of Karachi in collaboration with the Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA), organized today a high-impact session titled "The Freelance Revolution: From Degree to Digital PR Deals" under the PR Career Series 2026, highlighting the growing role of freelancing in shaping modern career pathways.
Creative Square, part of the KU MCD, organized an event bringing together students, aspiring professionals, and industry experts. The session focused on how Pakistani youth can tap into rapidly expanding global digital markets. Hosted by the faculty member Dr. Raana Afzal, the event reflected a strong student-driven approach, encouraging participants to take ownership of their professional journeys.
The KU MCD Chairperson Dr. Sadia Mehmood chaired the session. The panel featured the Founder and Chairman of PAFLA Ibrahim Amin, Video Editor, Upwork Trainer and Freelancer M. Hasan Bin Liaquat, Global YouTube Scriptwriter and Content Strategist Syeda Mahrukh Shah and Content Creator and AI Strategist Sagar Samy.
