This is inform to All fisheries student & graduates. about a four (4) months Advanced Aquaculture Training Program under the BBSHRRDB Livestock & Fisheries Department, aimed at enhancing practical and technical skills in modern aquaculture practices at SFARI Chiliya Thatta.

The program includes: •Theoretical and hands-on practical training
• Accommodation facilities
• Meals during the training period
• Training materials and study resources
• Monthly stipend for graduated trainees

This training is designed to develop professional capacity for applied and research-based aquaculture activities.

Representing the Centre of Excellence in Marine Biology (CEMB) at the University of Karachi, Dr. Shahnaz Rashid recently set up an engaging and informative stall at the DALFA-2026 @ Expo Center. The exhibit featured a fascinating display of various marine organisms and nature-related artifacts, aimed at educating the public about the critical importance of marine life and its vital role in sustaining our ecosystem. Dr. Shahnaz was enthusiastically supported by her dedicated students—Abbas, Aftab, and Alishba—who actively participated in interacting with visitors and spreading valuable awareness about marine conservation."
