🧑‍🎓Batch 2022F (Section A )

As our degree journey comes to an end, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to two remarkable teachers, Engr. Prof. Dr. M. Mehboob and Engr. Prof. Dr. Abdul Sami Qureshi.
Before attending Engr. Prof. Dr. M. Mehboob's classes, we had heard that he was very strict about discipline, rules, and uniform and indeed he was. But throughout the semester, we discovered that behind that strictness was a kind hearted mentor who genuinely cared about his students and prepared us for professional life through discipline and responsibility.
On the other hand, Engr. Prof. Dr. Abdul Sami Qureshi's kindness, humility, and supportive nature made every interaction memorable. His positive attitude and willingness to guide students created an environment where learning felt enjoyable and meaningful.
Both teachers taught us lessons that went far beyond the classroom. As 2022F Section A graduates, we leave with respect, gratitude, and memories that we will carry throughout our lives.
Thank you, Sirs, for your guidance, support, and invaluable lessons. You will always be remembered. 🎓❤️

Post-Tensioning Session Completed

We successfully conducted a post-tensioning session on 10th June 2026 in collaboration with Titanium Engineering Pvt Ltd.

Post-tensioning enhances structural performance by applying compressive forces through high-strength steel tendons. This results in thinner slabs, longer spans, and improved crack control. It remains a proven method for building efficient, durable, and cost-effective concrete structures.

We remain committed to applying engineering practices that meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Appreciation is extended to Engr. Faiza Tabbasum, Organizer, Engr. Hira Shakeel, Engr. Madiha Shamim and all volunteers for successfully organizing the event.

We are pleased to share that Engr. Afshan Siddiqui, Senior Lecturer, Civil Engineering Department, Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology, represented SSUET at The 5th Silk Road International Conference on the Cooperation and Integration of Industry, Education, Research and Application – The International Symposium of Safety and Emergency Management (2026) held in Xi’an, Shaanxi, China from May 29–31, 2026.

This international platform is also where Engr. Afshan is currently pursuing her PhD research, further strengthening SSUET’s engagement in global academic collaboration and innovation in safety and emergency management.
