Sir Syed Times mourns the passing of Sir Saleem Nawaz Sahib from the Architecture Department, SSUET - Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology.

With profound grief, we share the sad news of his passing. His contributions, guidance, and presence will be deeply remembered by his students, colleagues, and the entire community.

We request everyone to remember him in your prayers and recite Surah Al-Fatiha for his maghfirah.

May Allah Almighty forgive his shortcomings, shower him with infinite mercy, and grant him the highest ranks in Jannat-ul-Firdous. May Allah grant his family, friends, students, and loved ones sabr, strength, and comfort during this difficult time.

🎉 Historic Achievement Celebrated at SSUET! 🎉

Sir Syed Times proudly highlights a moment of immense pride and accomplishment for Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET).

Following the landmark achievement of securing 4-year PEC accreditation for the Department of Electronics Engineering, Chairperson EED Dr. Sadaf Raza, along with faculty and staff members, met with Chancellor SSUET Mr. Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan and Chairperson Zakir Ali Khan Foundation, Miss Erum Akbar Ali Khan to celebrate this remarkable milestone.

The occasion reflected the dedication, teamwork, and unwavering commitment of the entire SSUET family toward academic excellence and institutional progress.

🏛️ GOVERNOR HOUSE SINDH | SSUET Students Serve as Official Volunteers at PAFLA National Recognition Ceremony 🇵🇰

Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET), Karachi proudly represented itself at the PAFLA – Pakistan Freelancers Association National Recognition Ceremony, held at the Governor House Sindh on Saturday, 29 August 2026.

Under the theme “Celebrating Pakistan’s Freelancing Champions,” the prestigious ceremony brought together distinguished personalities, industry leaders, professionals, institutional representatives, and emerging talent to recognize the remarkable contributions of Pakistan’s freelancing community.

SSUET students proudly served as OFFICIAL VOLUNTEERS of the event, contributing to the successful ex*****on of the ceremony while representing their university with professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm.

The SSUET volunteer participation was coordinated by Yousuf Karim, while the SSUET delegation organised by Center for guidance, career planning and placement under supervision of Dr. Sarfaraz Natha( Director, CGCPP) and Mr. Kafeel ( Industrial Liaison officer)

The prestigious occasion was also graced by distinguished VIP delegates and academic personalities, including Commodore (R) Sarfaraz Ali, Registrar, SSUET, and Prof. Dr. Vali Uddin(UIT).

Being part of a national-level event as official volunteers provided SSUET students with valuable exposure to professional event management, industry networking, leadership, teamwork, and Pakistan’s rapidly growing freelancing and digital ecosystem.
