College Zoology Teachers Association College Zoology Teachers Association (CZTA) Zoology is the study of animal life. Some zoologists are interested in the biology of particular groups of animals.

College Zoology Teachers Association (CZTA)

The College Zoology Teachers Association (CZTA) was founded in 1967 as an interdisciplinary scientific society that would draw together members from diverse scientific backgrounds under the unified discipline of Zoology. The objectives as defined in the Society's constitution are:

*Promotion of scientific knowledge of animals and of related subjects th

rough
discussions, reports and publications.

*Stimulation of scientific investigations and their applications.

*Planning, organization and administration of projects for the advancement of scientific knowledge in Zoology.

*Improvement of education and of professional qualifications in Zoology

* working on the conservation of Pakistani wildlife & Marine animals.

*Promotion of international cooperation in achieving the all goals & objectives

What is Zoology? It covers areas ranging from the structure of organisms to the sub cellular unit of life. Others are concerned with the structure and function of animal bodies. Still others study how new animals are formed and how their characteristics are passed on from one generation to another. Zoologists study the interactions of animals with one another and their environments, and the significance of the behavior of animals. Zoology is both descriptive and analytical. It can be approached either as a basic science or as an applied science. A worker in basic zoology is interested in knowledge of animals for its own sake without consideration of the direct application of the information gained. In contrast, workers in applied zoology are interested in information which will directly benefit humans; medicine is an example. Save the Wild Life. Zoologist Career

Information: Becoming a Zoologist those interested in scientific research and working with animals may consider a career in zoology. Zoologists are Biological Scientists who study how animals live, develop and behave in their natural surroundings. Their findings may be used to determine ecological effects on animals or contribute to environmental preservation. Teaching Zoology is also an important profession.
