Speed Programming Competition hosted by ACM DSU in Collaboration with IMechE at DSU.
To be persistent towards your goal, to be able to question the “what-ifs” and to be able to work on things following a right course of events is what it takes to be a successful professional.
In order to infuse a spirit of becoming a pro among the young programmers, a Speed Programming Competition under “Contrivance” was held at DHA Suffa University.
The event took place from 02:00 P.M. to 05:00 P.M. on 18th and 19th of November’15. Participants were required to develop logics of the given problems and program it. The six-question problem set tested mathematical and logical skills of the team.
A total of 40 teams participated with the motive being victorious among others. At the end of Day 1, top 13 teams were evaluated eligible for competing for the final round. To the conclusion, “FEGit” from “FAST” , “Serious Virus” from “DSU” and “C-Company” from “FAST” were declared as the winners , 1st runner-ups and 2nd runner-ups respectively. Congratulations to all three teams!
Being the first event of Team ACM, it demanded exceptional and inordinate efforts by all the members.
And I’m very pleased to write that we “Planned it, executed it, and NAILED it.”
Lastly, “it’s not whether you win or lose; it’s about how you play the game.” Wishes to all those who were not able to make it this time. Remember there’s always a second chance.
Cheers!
