The University is situated in a secure, peaceful location, ensuring that students will be able to study in a serene setting away from the busy, noisy crowds in Karachi, and will also be able participate in healthy extracurricular activities and sports, as the institution houses a fully-equipped gymnasium, a basketball court, squash courts, and other recreational facilities. With an emphasis on quality, SHU inducts only the most talented students, highly qualified faculty known to be the best in their respective fields, and motivated, able staff, and in doing so, aspires to become a top-tier institution in Pakistan in the selected disciplines it pursues.
