*On 22-09-2022, The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between International Institute of Digital Forensic Science and Technology and Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro to start Digital Forensic and emerging technologies Courses.*
Prof. Dr. Qamar ul Arafeen, Director International Institute of Digital Forensic Science and Technology met with the Prof. Dr. Tauha Hussain Ali, Vice Chancellor, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro , Prof. Dr. Arabela Bhutto, Director, Dr. Muhammad Al Shah, Director ORIC, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro. Matters of concerns were discussed and the need to start Digital Forensic and emerging technologies courses from grass roots. Considering the changing trends in the world, it was brought forward that Digital Forensic area should be a part of curriculum and that advance subjects like Mobile phone forensic, Computer forensic, Network Forensic, Database Forensic, Geo Fencing, CDR, IPDR, Audio Forensic, Video forensic. Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Knowledge based system should be introduced to the students, this could provide double impact as the young people after realizing the grave consequences will avoid doing Cyber Crime and Pakistan will have a professional human resource standing in a few years. In the meeting Muhammad Fahim, Director Planning and Development, International Institute of Digital Forensic Science and Technology, Karachi appreciated the efforts and provided his consent on the same.
