80th Independence Day Celebrations at Karachi University Business School

The Karachi University Business School, University of Karachi, commemorated the 80th Independence Day of Pakistan with great zeal and patriotic fervor on August 13th, 2025.

The celebrations commenced with a plantation drive, symbolizing our commitment to a greener and sustainable future. This was followed by an engaging quiz competition and various student activities centered on the theme of independence. Prizes were awarded to acknowledge outstanding participation and performance.

We were honored by the presence of distinguished KUBS alumni, whose participation added great value to the event. The ceremony was graced by Dr. Fakhr Alam Siddiqui, Incharge KUBS; Dr. Sohaib Uz Zaman, Departmental Student Advisor; Dr. Danish Ahmad Siddiqui; Dr. Sarah Anjum; Dr. Nazmeen Waseem; and Lecturer Hammad Zafar.

In their addresses, the faculty members commended the students for their enthusiasm and dedication. They emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices made for our nation and urged the youth to contribute meaningfully toward the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

On behalf of the Karachi University Business School, we extend our heartfelt greetings to all Pakistanis on this Independence Day.
