The premier engineering society in NED UET- ASHRAE, formerly known as "American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers"

ASHRAE (The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) advances technology to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world. The codes & standards of ASHRAE have been followed through out the world. A Student Chapter of ASHRAE was established in NED University in January 2005. Over the past 16 years of its inception, the chapter has become largest in Pakistan with

more than 300 student members. Over the past 15 years the NED chapter of ASHRAE has set benchmarks with its performance in both domestic and national level events. In pursuit of its goal of educating the future engineers of Pakistan, ASHRAE-NED Chapter has organized various conferences, Technical Seminars, Competitions and workshops to enrich and enlighten the minds of NED's brightest students while continuing to provide them with numerous opportunities to interact with serving professionals to broaden their horizons. Our efforts over the past years were put in organizing National level Mega Events, ALL PAKISTAN ASHRAE STUDENTS CONFERENCE (A.C.E. '11-'21 i.e 6 editions) with participants from all over the country competing for both prizes and prestige. These event was a milestone for us and we are able to turn it into an annual event. While our focus remains on inculcating the technical know-how and professional knowledge so pertinent to modern engineering, we have simultaneously striven to enhance the intellectual faculties of our members too by organizing theatre performances and Motivational Workshops in NED-UET. We remain dedicating to outdoing ourselves and bringing even more enriching and invigorating experiences to the university in the coming year.
