On this solemn occasion marking the death anniversary of our esteemed national hero, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, I wish to express my heartfelt tribute to a truly exceptional individual who devoted his life to the progress of our nation.

Dr. Khan was not only an outstanding scientist but also a cherished friend of my father, Engr. Zakir Ali Khan. Their bond was founded on mutual respect and a shared vision for the advancement of our country. Dr. Khan frequently shared personal anecdotes and valuable insights with my father, exploring various avenues for the growth and development of SSUET, where he played a vital role as a member of the Board of Governors. His foresight and mentorship were crucial in shaping the future of our institution.

As we honor Dr. Khan's legacy, let us remember his steadfast dedication to excellence and his deep love for Pakistan. His remarkable contributions will continue to inspire future generations.

May his soul find eternal peace, and may we all strive to embody the values he championed.

Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan
President, AMUOBA
Chancellor, SSUET
