The objective of Metropolitan University, Karachi is to establish a centre of excellence to impart quality education in modern sciences, engineering, technology to youth of Pakistan through exposure to the state of the art higher education facilities. onomy of the country. Keeping in view the objective as mentioned above, the MUK gives great emphasis on the promotion of quality higher education and decided to establish the proposed university with the following intentions:
To impart higher education to the people of the Pakistan to enable them to play their role in the development of the Nation and to meet the challenges of 21st century. To provide better opportunities to the young generation of Pakistan to produce highly trained individuals possessing all the essential qualities for conducting research and development aimed at bringing about progress and prosperity in the country. To increase the productivity of local industries by enhancing the technical and managerial skills of the youth through exposure to the knowledge and technology. To educate the society so that the people can play positive role in the economic and social development of the country
