CLARIFICATION

The Spokesperson of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur has clarified the news items published in various dailies regarding ban on M. Phil and PhD programs in Distance Education centers of the University. The Spokesperson has further clarified that Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur is offering only Masters Program M.A English, Economics and Sociology through Distance Education Program under the umbrella of Higher Education Commission.

In these centers, University is not offering M. Phil and PhD Programs. Hence, the ban does not pertain to Masters Programs offered by Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur at Distance Education Centers funded by Higher Education Commission, Islamabad.

WINTER VACATIONS ANNOUNCED

Prof. Dr. Syed Asad Raza Abidi, Registrar, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur has announced that Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur and its Shikarpur, Ghotki and Shahdadkot Campuses will remain closed from Tuesday 26 December, 2017 to Friday 05th January 2018 on account of Winter Vacations.

The classes of new Academic Year 2018 will start from Monday 08th January 2018.

PRE-ENTRY TEST

Mr. Nazir Ahmed Mangnejo, Director Admissions, Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur has announced that the Pre-Entry Test for admissions in all Faculties and Departments for Academic Year 2018 for Bachelor Program will be held Tomorrow on Monday 04th December 2017 at 10:00 am, while Pre-Entry Test for Masters Program will be held on Tuesday 05th December 2017 at 10:00 am at Central lawn of Administration Block of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur.

Those candidates who have applied for admissions in Shikarpur, Ghotki and Shahdadkot Campuses are advised to appear in the test in their respective Campuses.

All the arrangements for smooth conduct of test are made finalized.

The candidates are advised to appear in the test as per given date, time and venue.
