The Department of Electrical Engineering is pleased to announce that the Final Year Project (FYP) Viva for the 21EL batch was successfully conducted on 26th November 2025. We were honored to have Dr. Fida Memon, Assistant Professor at IBA Sukkur, as the external examiner for the evaluations.

Our students showcased their innovative ideas, demonstrated strong technical understanding, and presented their project outcomes. The department highly appreciates the valuable feedback and suggestions shared by all the reviewers during presentation, which will further help students refine and improve their work.

The Department of Electrical Engineering, MUET SZAB Campus, is delighted to share the outstanding achievements of our students at the Final Year Design Project Exhibition 2025, held on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, and organized by ORIC. Our students demonstrated remarkable innovation and technical expertise, earning 2nd positions in the Hardware Category. We proudly congratulate Haris Mujeeb, Fateh Muhammad, Waqas Ansari, and Daniyal Ahmed for securing the 2nd Position with their project “Design and Optimization of Dual-Axis Solar Tracker for Improved Solar Energy Harvesting,” supervised by Dr. Irfan Ahmed . This project contributed significantly to the advancement of renewable energy solutions. We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to Saba, Sadia, and Jawad Ali for achieving the 2nd Position with their project “Automation of Induction Motor Starting through PLC-Based System,” supervised by Dr. Ahsanullah Memon , showcasing strong command in industrial automation and smart control applications.

The Department of Electrical Engineering, MUET SZAB Campus, proudly recognizes the achievements of our students in the Poster Category at the Final Year Design Project Exhibition 2025, held on 25 November 2025 and organized by ORIC. Our students demonstrated strong analytical skills and innovation in presenting their research contributions. We extend our warmest congratulations to Manzoor Ahmed and Shabuddin for securing the 3rd Position with their project “Demand Response Optimization in Residential Building Using Time-of-Use Tariff,” supervised by Dr. Kalsoom Bhagat. Their work highlights expertise in smart energy management, demand-side optimization, and intelligent control of residential energy usage.

🎉 Congratulations to Abdul Salam Shaikh (K25EL13), a talented student from the Electrical Engineering Department, for securing First Position in the "Awareness and Capacity Building Session" organized by the Election Commission of Pakistan under the Voter Education and Awareness Program — Mainstreaming Youth in the Electoral Process!

The event, held on 22nd October 2025 at the Auditorium Hall, MUET SZAB Campus, Khairpur Mirs, featured an inspiring session led by Mr. Naeem Rehman Jalbani (District Election Officer), who emphasized the importance of youth participation in elections through interactive discussion.
