PMDC Institute of Surveying KHEWRA Survey Institute Khewra (A Welfare Project of PMDC (Pvt) Ltd.) was established in the year 1971. was established in the year 1962.

The principle activities of the institute are to provide technical education of Land Surveying, Quantity Surveying and Mining. You can say that this is the Asia's 1st Institute of Surveying.
