It was a great day for me that HEC recognised those researchers who have been included among the world’s top 2% scientists in the global ranking released by Stanford University. Certificates were awarded by Education Minister Mr. Meen Khan in presence HEC Chairman Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar (S.I) and Executive Director HEC Dr. Zia ul Haq, who is also among the globally ranked scientists. The Ceremony was graced by Vice Chancellors from all KP Universties. Alhmadulillah, I also received Certificate of Recognition from HEC, Pakistan.

• Mr. Naimat Ullah Khan: “In silico Pharmacokinetics Assessment of Liquisolid Compacts of Clopidogrel and Its Comparison with Conventional Tablets”
His research was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Mughal Qayyum (Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacy, KUST, Kohat), examined internally by Dr. Naseer Abbas (Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy, KUST, Kohat), and externally by Dr. Inam Ullah Khan (Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacy, University of Peshawar).
• Mr. Razi Ali Shah: “Network Pharmacology-Based Evaluation of Boerhavia diffusa Phytochemicals and Their Mechanisms Against Prostate Cancer Progression and Treatment”

The Department of Pharmacy, KUST, proudly congratulates Mr. Ahmad Aman on the successful defense of his M.Phil thesis entitled:

“Phytochemical Profiling and Antibacterial Potential of Ifloga spicata through Analytical and Computational Techniques.”

This remarkable research, supervised by Dr. Fawad Ali Bangash (Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy, KUST), demonstrates an excellent blend of experimental and computational investigations aimed at exploring the medicinal potential of Ifloga spicata. The study offers valuable insights for future drug discovery research and highlights the department’s growing contribution to phytochemical and pharmaceutical sciences.

The defense was examined by:

🎓 Congratulations to Mr. Aamir khan on the successful defense of their M.Phil theses titled:

“Antimicrobial Resistance and susceptibility in Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar”.

This research was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Sajid Hussain (Assistant Professor) with co-supervision by Dr. Fawad Ali Bangash (Assistant Professor), Department of Pharmacy, Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST) and Dr Ali Talha Khalil Assistant professor department of pathology MTI LRH Peshawar.
The theses were examined by Dr. Syed Majid Shah (Internal Examiners, Department of Pharmacy, KUST) and Dr. Saeed jan (External Examiner, Assistant professor department of pharmacy Swabi).

Heartiest Congratulations to Mr. Zia Ud Din on His Successful PhD Defense (Pharmacy)
The Department of Pharmacy, Kohat University of Science and Technology (KUST), Kohat, proudly congratulates Mr. Ziauddinkhan on the successful defense of his PhD in Pharmacy.
His PhD research, entitled:
“Characterization of Genetic Diversity among Susceptible and Multidrug-Resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis Isolates in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan,”
is a valuable contribution toward understanding tuberculosis and drug resistance patterns in our region and will serve as an important reference for future research and public health strategies.
This distinguished academic achievement was completed under the supervision of:
