It was 6th April 2006 when a new college inaugurated in the Historical city of Kohat with the name of KUST institute of medical sciences later become KMU institute of medical sciences (KMU-IMS) after affiliation with Khyber medical university. To repeat the same story, the graduates of first two batches decided to organise a platform from where they can render much more for the advancement and development of the college at the national and international levelsso they laid down the foundation of Kims Alumni Association- KAA at the 7th Anniversary of KIMS. Organizational Structure:
The following shall be the elected office bearers of the Association;
A. Information and Public Relations Secretary
G. Social Welfare Secretary

Executive Committee:
The executive committee shall consist of following;
A. All the office bearers shall be the Ex- Officio members
B. The previous outgoing president and the general secretary
C. The principal of the college
D. A faculty member of the college, appointed by the college authorities through a notification, as coordinator
E. Eight members to be elected in Annual General Meeting of the Association

بھاری دل کے ساتھ اطلاع دی جاتی ہے کہ ہمارے عزیز دوست، مخلص ساتھی اور نہایت قابل سرجن ڈاکٹر ماجد اس فانی دنیا سے رخصت ہو گئے ہیں۔ ان کی وفات ہم سب کے لیے ایک ناقابلِ تلافی نقصان ہے۔ وہ اپنی شرافت، خوش اخلاقی، عاجزی اور مریضوں کے ساتھ بہترین برتاؤ کی وجہ سے ہمیشہ یاد رکھے جائیں گے۔ KIMS Alumni Association اس غم کی گھڑی میں اُنکے اہل خانہ سے تعزیت کا اظہار کرتی ہے اور ہم اُنکے غم میں برابر کے شریک ہیں ۔

تمام دوستوں، ساتھیوں اور احباب سے مؤدبانہ گزارش ہے کہ مرحوم ڈاکٹر ماجد کی مغفرت، بلندیٔ درجات اور جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام کے لیے خصوصی دعا فرمائیں۔ اللہ تعالیٰ ان کی لغزشوں سے درگزر فرمائے، ان کی قبر کو نور سے بھر دے اور اہلِ خانہ کو یہ صدمہ برداشت کرنے کی توفیق اور صبرِ جمیل عطا فرمائے۔

We are saddened to share that Our dear Brother, KIMS Alumnus Dr Majid Khattak TMO Neurosurgery HMC Peshawar sustained severe burn injuries in a gas blast at HMC Hostel Peshawar and is currently under treatment in Burn Center Peshawar.
All are requested to please remember him and his family in your prayers. It's time to stand with him and his family.
We are all rooting for you Dr Majid. Get Well soon.
