The review paper “FDA-Approved AI Solutions in Dental Imaging: A Narrative Review of Applications, Evidence, and Outlook” has been published in the International Dental Journal, a Scopus (Q1) indexed journal with an Impact Factor of 3.7.

This review highlights how FDA-cleared AI platforms are transforming dental imaging by offering clinically validated tools for diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient monitoring. Innovation @ Superior

Meet Kanwal Akhtar from the Faculty of Sciences, The Superior University, Lahore, whose research sheds new light on the biological roots of schizophrenia and potential future treatments.

Her study, “Targeting Inflammation to Reduce Schizophrenia Symptoms,” explores how brain inflammation and oxidative stress may contribute to schizophrenia—a serious mental health condition affecting nearly 1–1.5% of the global population.

Using an experimental mouse model, the researchers examined pyrimidine derivatives (THP) as a therapeutic approach.
