Migrant Resource Centre in collaboration with Media Studies, University of South Asia is organizing an Awareness Session on “Safe and Informed Migration - Difference between Human Trafficking and Smuggling”

The primary objective of this program is to highlight the following;
● Difference between Human Trafficking and Smuggling.

● Risks and Hazards of Irregular Migration.

● Role of Government Stakeholders and Media in curbing the Issue.

● Raising Awareness on Safe and Legal migration Pathways.

The Migrant Resource Centres (MRCs) in Islamabad and Lahore are working under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (MOPHRD) as well as the Department of Labour, Punjab (DoL) respectively since 2016.

The aim of the MRCs is to Increase the Accessibility of Intending Migrants, Migrant Workers, and their families to general and specific information on migration and work abroad, improve their knowledge on available safe/ regular migration opportunities and Raise Awareness on the Dangers and risks involved in irregular migration.

It's a Proud moment that after more than 60,000 casualties and 89% Success on War against Terrorism, Pakistan Armed forces and this Nation has forced the World to recognise Pakistan as a victim of Terrorism.
