Iqbal Day was celebrated at UCP where Consulate General of Iran, His Excellency Mehran Movahifer was Chief Guest and Dr Moeen Nizami, eminent scholar of Iqbaliat was the Keynote speaker respectively. Two female students made powerful speeches about philosophy of Iqbal. Singers of UCP Music Society presented melodious Klam e Iqbal which was applauded by the guests and audience.
In the second segment there was a formal function where Prorector Dr Hammad Naveed and Dean of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr Khalid Manzoor Butt welcomed the Consulate General and Dr Nizami. Dr Butt highlighted the importance of Iqbal in Pakistan movement and his philosophy in his welcoming speech. Dr Moeen in Keynote address shared vision of Iqbal and his high hopes for youth and students. His Excellency Movahidfer in his speech explained love and respect for Iqbal in Iran. He further said 'Iqbal Day' has been placed in Iranian calendar to pay homage. He stated that Iqbal's Persian poetry is a binding force between two brotherly nations. At the end Dr Butt presented souvenir shields to the guests. The event was concluded with jointly cake cutting by Consul General, Dr Nizami, Dr Butt along with patrons and office bearers of UCP Literary Society.

International Conference on Mental Health, Human Dignity & Climate Change 2025 united scholars from Pakistan, USA, Canada, Ireland, Norway & Bangladesh.
Day 1 featured keynote addresses by Dr. Evelin Lindner (Founding President, Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies; University of Oslo, Norway), Dr. Beate Seibt (University of Oslo, Norway), Dr. Gulnaz Anjum (University of Limerick, Ireland), and Dr. Yasmeen Khan Sardar.
Day 2 included Dr. Muhammad Younus Zahid (Former Director, Environment Protection Department), Dr. Abul Kalam Azad (Manarat International University, Bangladesh), and Dr. Anca Minescu (University of Limerick, Ireland).
The event explored emotional resilience, ecological sustainability, and collective responsibility, featuring two insightful panel discussions and over 120+ research papers chaired by experts from Canada, USA & Pakistan marking a milestone in promoting mental health, human dignity & climate awareness.

As part of the *International Conference on Mental Health, Human Dignity, and Climate Change 2025*, organized by the Department of Psychology, Dr. Evelin Lindner(Founding President of Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies and Co-Founder of the World Dignity University Initiative) led *The Dignilogues*, emphasizing that vulnerability and mutual respect form the foundation of belonging, love, and healing across cultures. She highlighted dignity as the cornerstone of mental wellbeing and sustainable coexistence, concluding with a powerful call for ecological awareness, moral courage, and transformative political structures that uphold dignity as a universal human and environmental right.

Highlights from International Conference on Mental Health, Human Dignity & Climate Change: Mitigating Global Psychological Risks 2025. The second day of conference was Inaugurated with
Keynote speaker Dr. Muhammad Younus Zahid, former director environment (Rtd) Environment Protection Department and Second Keynote speaker was Dr. Muhammad Abul Kalam Azad from Manarat International University Bangladesh. Third keynote speaker was Dr. Anca Minescu from University of Limerick, Ireland concluded with Dr. Bushra Naz's vote or thanks. Then 12 scientific sessions were conducted followed by panel discussion includint panelists Dr. Noor ul Zaman, Dr. Junaid Rasool, Dr. Ume Kaloom, Dr. Zaiqia Bano and moderated by Momina Nayyer. The conference concluded with closing ceremony appreciating the efforts of organizing teams.

Highlights from International Conference on Mental Health, Human Dignity & Climate Change: Mitigating Global Psychological Risks 2025. The conference inaugurated with remarks by Prof. Dr. Khalid Manzoor Butt (Dean FHSS), Dr. Hammad Naveed (Pro Rector UCP), and Dr. Yasmeen Khan Sardar. Keynote speakers included Dr. Evelin Lindner and Dr. Beate Seibt from Norway, and Dr. Gulnaz Anjum from the University of Limerick, Ireland, and lastly, by Dr Shazia Hasan (Head Psychology Department) presented her vote of thanks. Six scientific sessions featured leading scholars and researchers, followed by a panel discussion chaired by Dr. Asir Ajmal, with Dr. Rafia Rafique, Dr. Syeda Shahida Batool, Dr. Saqib Bajwa, and Dr. Abul Kalam Azad from Bangladesh.A meaningful step toward global dialogue on mental health, human dignity, and climate change.
