Congratulations to Maida Khanum!

The Department of Geography, proudly congratulates Maida Khanum, BS Geography, Session 2019–2023, on the publication of her collaborative research article titled:

“Multi-index remote sensing and GIS-based assessment of Shisper Glacier surge dynamics and glacial lake outburst flood hazard in Hunza, Pakistan”

The article has been published in Environmental Monitoring and Assessment (SCI, IF:3.6) and reflects valuable research contribution in the field of remote sensing, GIS, glacier dynamics, and GLOF hazard assessment.

This achievement is a moment of pride for the Department and a source of inspiration for our students. We warmly congratulate Maida Khanum and all co-authors on this excellent collaborative work and wish them continued success in future research.
