✨ MEETA Mock Exam – 29th November 2025 ✨

Today, our campus buzzed with energy as students appeared for the MEETA Mock Examination: a structured practice test designed to sharpen their skills and boost their confidence for the actual exam ahead.

From the moment the papers were handed out, the determination on their faces said it all. Our students attempted the test with full enthusiasm, focus, and discipline, treating this mock as a real trial of their abilities. The purpose of this exercise was not just assessment, but preparation, polishing, and progress—and our students truly lived up to the spirit of learning.

We applaud their dedication and hope this experience helps them walk into the real exam hall with even greater readiness and self-belief.

Government Associate College for Women, Salamat Pura celebrated Iqbal Day on 14th November 2025 with great enthusiasm and zeal.

The program opened with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by a heartfelt Naat that set a warm and respectful tone for the morning.

Ms. Rabia from the Urdu Department took charge as the compere, and her confident, engaging style kept the audience connected throughout the event.

The lineup featured powerful speeches, inspiring recitations of Iqbal’s poetry, and melodious renditions of his kalaam by the students. Each performance reflected the spirit of Iqbal’s message—hope, self-belief, and the courage to rise.

Toward the end, the audience was addressed by Vice Principal Ms. Saba Shehzadi, Guest of Honor Dr. Uzma Shafqat, retd. AP Physics at GACW Salamatpura, and Ms. Nazia Sattar, HOD Islamic Studies. Their heartfelt words encouraged students to aim higher and continue striving for excellence.

The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to the participants—marking a memorable celebration of Iqbal’s legacy and the talent of our students.

City Traffic Police Punjab at Government Associate College for Women, Salamatpura!
Dated: 29th October 2025

Today, our college had the privilege of hosting the City Traffic Police, Punjab, who visited with their mobile licensing van, fully equipped with the latest digital systems and facilities.

Students and faculty members benefitted from this wonderful initiative. Many successfully applied for their learner and driving licenses right here on campus.

We sincerely appreciate the efforts of the Traffic Police team and the CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif for bringing this convenient, efficient, and community-friendly service to our doorstep. Their dedication to promoting road safety awareness and making public services accessible is truly commendable.

A big thank-you to all the organizers, faculty, and students who made this event a great success.

👩‍🚒 Civil Defence Awareness Session at GACW Salamatpura

Last Wednesday, our college had the privilege of hosting the Department of Civil Defence, Punjab, for an enlightening and hands-on awareness session.

The team conducted an informative lecture followed by a live demonstration, focusing on some of the most essential life-saving skills everyone should know — from providing first aid for burns and cuts to understanding how to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

The session was both eye-opening and empowering, reminding us that preparedness is the first step towards safety.

Students and staff not only gained valuable knowledge but were also given the opportunity to register with Civil Defence and contribute towards building a safer, more responsible community. 🌿✨
