Usman Ahmad Bhatti, senior reporter from Geo TV, conducted an insightful and interactive session with the students of Department of Film & Broadcasting, SCS University of the Punjab, focusing on the transition from traditional media to digital media. The students actively participated by sharing their experiences and asking thought-provoking questions regarding emerging media trends and platforms.

An important meeting was held in the Chairperson Prof. Dr. Lubna Zaheer’s office at the Department of Film & Broadcasting, SCS University of the Punjab regarding the feature film production project funded by the Punjab Government.

The selected young filmmakers Mr. Mahtab Yasin, Mr. Abu Baker, and Mr. Suleman, presented their ideas and plans for the production. Faculty members Dr. Sobia Abid and Mr. Ahmed Ahmad Hammad were also present at the meeting.

The Chairperson, faculty members, and young filmmakers participated in a detailed brainstorming session on various aspects of the project. An event will soon be organized at the departmental level to celebrate and formally announce this significant achievement of stepping into feature film production.

During the meeting, promotional and other collaborative activities for the film Film Psycho were discussed, and future plans were outlined. Chairperson, Department of Film & Broadcasting, SCS University of the Punjab Prof. Dr. Lubna Zaheer appeared on the Samaa TV morning show and spoke about the Punjab Government’s plan, through PECTA, to revise the curriculum from Grade 1 to 12.
