The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naeem Naqi convened the Deans’ Committee Meeting to review the progress of the Summer Semester and assess the University’s preparedness for Fall 2026.

The agenda was presented by Prof. Dr. Naeem Mubarak, Pro Vice Chancellor, following which the forum engaged in detailed discussions on academic progress, student affairs, faculty preparedness, admissions, operational readiness, and other key priorities for the upcoming semester.

The meeting provided an important platform for the Deans to share progress, identify challenges, and align their respective faculties with the University’s strategic priorities for the new academic year.

Together, we remain committed to academic excellence, effective governance, and a stronger student experience at UBAS.

Welcome Aboard, Muhammad Omer Saeed!

We are pleased to welcome Muhammad Omer Saeed to the UBAS family. With a strong blend of academic expertise, network engineering, project management, and information security, he brings valuable industry and teaching experience to our academic community.

Holding an MSc in Computer Networking Principles and Practice from the University of Hertfordshire, UK, with research in Quantum Cryptography, along with a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Muhammad Omer Saeed has taught and worked across areas including Cyber Security, Computer Networking, Programming, Database Systems, and Software Engineering.

His diverse professional experience and passion for emerging technologies will further enrich our students’ learning and contribute to our commitment to industry-relevant, future-focused education.

We warmly welcome him to UBAS and wish him success in this new chapter!
