The purpose of this Web TV is to create awareness among 17000 students in particular and the public at large regarding Corona Virus Pandemic. The launch of Web TV would uplift the standard of higher education culture through digital means. It would bridge the communication between teachers and students and also serve as a source of education/counseling services for citizens

It broadcasts all the

Conferences, Seminars, Symposiums, and Lectures to be held at the University. Over 17,000 students will get direct benefits from the project

International Expertise Joins Hands with the Department of Applied Psychology, LCWU

The Department of Applied Psychology, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), welcomed Dr. Omar Mendoza Mahmood, Clinical Director and Assistant Professor of Clinical and Counseling Psychology at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), Qatar, on the invitation of Prof. Dr. Amina Muazzam, Chairperson, Department of Applied Psychology.

During the visit, Prof. Dr. Amina Muazzam and Dr. Mahmood held discussions on the status of psychology licensing in Pakistan and Qatar, strategies to strengthen professional standards, and opportunities for collaboration in doctoral education and academic exchange between LCWU and HBKU.

Dr. Mahmood delivered a session on neuropsychological assessment, Islamic psychology, and the role of spirituality in mental health. He also engaged with MS Clinical Psychology and PhD Psychology students, alumni, and faculty in an interactive discussion marked by insightful questions and meaningful academic exchange.

Dr. Mahmood was accompanied by Ms. Ushna and Ms. Shiza, both psychologists, who also participated in the visit.

The delegation later met Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi, Vice Chancellor, LCWU, to explore collaboration in new academic programs, research, and faculty and student exchange. The meeting laid the foundation for a future Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between LCWU and HBKU.

The delegation also toured the LCWU campus, praising its lush green environment, cleanliness, and well-maintained facilities. Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi commended Prof. Dr. Amina Muazzam for facilitating this international engagement, describing it as a significant step toward strengthening academic and professional collaboration between the two institutions.

K-BIC Successfully Organizes Entrepreneurial Expo 3.0, 2026, at LCWU
The Khadija-tul-Kubra Business Incubation Center (K-BIC), Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), successfully organized Entrepreneurial Expo 3.0, bringing together aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, industry leaders, and academia to celebrate innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup excellence.

The event was graced by Ms. Nadia Seth (SI) CEO SMEDA as the Chief Guest. She appreciated the innovative projects displayed by the students and encouraged K-BIC to continue organizing such events to promote and showcase students' entrepreneurial ventures and creative business ideas.

Ms. Falahat Imran, President of the Women Chamber of Commerce, attended as the Guest of Honour. In her address, she emphasized the importance of empowering students to develop original business ideas while equipping them with practical skills and knowledge relevant to their chosen fields.

Prof. Dr Uzma Quraishi, Vice Chancellor, LCWU, applauded the efforts of Dr Faiza Iftikhar Director K-BIC and Her team for organising a successful event. She said such events are crucial in helping students prepare for their future enterpreneurial ventures. She also thanked the Chief Guest Ms Nadia Seth , Ms Falahat Imran and other Honourable guests, jurors and representatives of participating universities.
