NUML, Lahore Campus, in collaboration with Aiwan-e-Iqbal Complex, celebrated the 80th Independence Day of Pakistan with great enthusiasm under the leadership of Regional Director, Brig. (R) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asif Iqbal SI (M). The ceremony was presided over by Mian Mujtaba Shuja Ur Rehman, Minister for Finance, Punjab. We are thankful to our worthy guests; Dr. Ayesha Ashfaq, Chairperson, Department of Media & Development Communication, University of the Punjab, Lahore; Salman Ghani, Senior Journalist and Analyst and recipient of Sitara-e-Imtiaz; Brigadier (R) Javed Ahmed, President, Ex-Servicemen Society. The celebration was not only a tribute to Pakistanโs remarkable journey since independence but also provided an opportunity to highlight the significance of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement among Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Tรผrkiye. The students actively participated in various segments of the program and presented their talent and creativity.
The ceremony was followed by the distribution of certificates to students from various summer courses, including language courses. Students of different languages performed to demonstrate their proficiency. The variety of languages added vibrance to the event and reflected the diversity offered at the National University of Modern Languages, Lahore Campus.
