Mehfil-e- Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ at GIGC.

Venue: Govt. Islamia Graduate College, Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore
In compliance with the directions of the Higher Education Department, Jashn-e-Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ was observed at Govt. Islamia Graduate College, Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore with religious devotion, respect, and enthusiasm.
A Mehfil-e-Milad was organized on this blessed occasion of Rabi-ul-Awal, in which students presented beautiful Na'ats and speakers highlighted various aspects of the Seerat-e-Muhammad ﷺ, emphasizing the noble character, teachings, and exemplary life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Syed Ansar Azhar, DPI Colleges Punjab, as the Chief Guest. He addressed the gathering and enlightened the students and faculty about the importance of Seerat-e-Muhammad ﷺ. He emphasized the need to follow the teachings and noble character of the Holy Prophet ﷺ in our personal and social lives. He also appreciated the college administration for organizing the Mehfil-e-Milad and promoting religious, moral, and ethical values among students.
Principal Prof. Dr. Shahida Sohail warmly welcomed the Chief Guest and expressed her gratitude for his valuable presence and guidance. She also addressed the gathering and shed light on the blessed life, noble character, and exemplary teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. She emphasized the importance of incorporating the values of Seerat-e-Muhammad ﷺ, particularly honesty, compassion, tolerance, justice, discipline, and respect for others, into our daily lives. She encouraged students to learn from the Seerat-e-Tayyaba and become responsible, morally upright, and compassionate members of society.
The program also included special prayers for the peace, security, stability, and prosperity of Pakistan, as well as for the well-being of the Muslim Ummah.
The event concluded with Principal Prof. Dr. Shahida Sohail expressing her heartfelt thanks to Prof. Dr. Syed Ansar Azhar, DPI Colleges Punjab, for honouring the college with his presence and participation in the blessed gathering.
