The Institute of Administrative Sciences (IAS), University of the Punjab, proudly appreciates the contributions of its students at the prestigious All Pakistan Punjab University Media Fest 2026.

Ms. Fatima Tuz Zahra (BS Management, 4th Semester) had the honor of serving as Director of the Module MemeStorm as well as Graphic Designer for the event. Her creativity and dedication were widely recognized, and she received appreciation and best wishes from Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali (S.I & T.I), the worthy Vice Chancellor of the University of the Punjab, during the closing ceremony. Upon learning of her affiliation with IAS, he commended her achievements and remarked that IAS students consistently bring pride to their department through their talent, commitment, and excellence.

Similarly, Mr. Chaudhary Shehroze (BS Management, 6th Semester) served as Director Accommodations and was honored with a shield at the closing ceremony in recognition of his exceptional services and contributions.

The Institute of Administrative Sciences (IAS), University of the Punjab, had the honor of hosting Her Excellency Ina Lepel, German Ambassador to Pakistan, for an insightful interactive session on “German Foreign Policy & Bilateral Relations with Pakistan” on Monday, 4th May 2026.
The event was organized by IAS in collaboration with Directorate of External Linkages (DEL), under the guidance of the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali (S.I. & T.I.).

Prof. Dr. Kashif Rathore, Director IAS, formally welcomed the distinguished guest and emphasized the importance of academic diplomacy and international engagement for public sector institutions.

A distinguished gathering of academic leadership—including PU Deans, Directors/HODs, the Registrar, PRO, and Vice Chancellor of Mianwali University—also joined the session, reflecting the importance and wide institutional interest in international engagement.

Ambassador Ina Lepel shared valuable perspectives on Germany’s foreign policy priorities and the evolving dynamics of Pakistan–Germany relations, followed by an engaging and thought-provoking interaction with students & faculty members.

The event provided a meaningful platform for academic exchange and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and dialogue.

Prof. Dr. Kashif Rathore, (Director IAS), delivered the keynote address on “Governance Change & Public Sector Innovation” at the 4th International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Management and Administrative Sciences, held at Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) on April 21, 2026.

Following his address, Prof. Dr. Kashif Rathore was presented with a commemorative shield by Mr. Faheem-ur-Rehman Saigol, President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI).

The Institute of Administrative Sciences (IAS), successfully organized its Extracurricular Week (Spring Fest 2026), featuring Quran Recitation, Naat-e-Rasool, and English and Urdu Debate & Declamation Competitions along with a memorable Mushaira.

IAS extends its sincere gratitude to the esteemed adjudicators and guest poets from Directorate of Students Affairs, including Futras Hussain, Syed Shoaib, Rabia Zeeshan, Hareem Anam, Ashar Abbas, Tabish Ali, Hadia Khalid, and Ahsan Iftikhar, for their valuable time and contributions.
