Army Public School & College For Girls (Azam Garrison) Initially it was a primary school but with the passage of time it became a high school. The institution is now a high school for girls.

The foundation of Army Public School for Girls (Azam Garrison) was laid by Lieutenant General (Retired) Azam Khan the then General Officer Commanding 10 Division in 1950 with the object of providing educational facilities to the children of Army personnel and civilians residing in the Cantonment. In 1983 it was upgraded to the status of an Intermediate College for Girls. In 1990 the College was upgraded to degree level and was bifurcated as a separate institution.
