IMS Pak-AIMS | Commitment to Academic Governance & Excellence

IMS Pak-AIMS University today successfully conducted the G*T Test for admission into the MPhil Program, reflecting the institution’s unwavering commitment to academic rigor, transparency, and quality assurance. The examination attracted new aspiring scholars from both the Management Sciences and Computer Sciences streams, demonstrating strong interest in postgraduate research and advanced studies.

The assessment was administered within a highly organized, disciplined, and protocol-compliant academic environment, enabling candidates to attempt the test with full concentration, seriousness, and intellectual maturity. Students displayed a commendable level of preparedness and focus throughout the examination process.

Both MPhil Program Coordinators remained actively present, ensuring effective supervision, coordination, and adherence to academic standards. The overall examination process was professionally overseen by the Controller of Examinations, working in close coordination with the Deputy Registrar, to guarantee seamless operations, strict compliance with institutional regulations, and the maintenance of examination decorum and security protocols.

Through such meticulously managed academic activities, IMS Pak-AIMS University continues to strengthen its postgraduate framework, promote merit-based assessment, and cultivate a culture of research excellence and academic integrity.

We are delighted to share that the Head of our Computer Science Department, Dr. Muhammad Hassan, was invited by UET Lahore (KICS Department) to serve as a Session Chair at the
19th International Conference on Open Source Systems and Technologies (ICOSST 2025).

Dr. Hassan participated as a Session Chair, shared his valuable remarks, and contributed significantly to the academic and research discussions. In recognition of his services, he was also awarded an International Conference Shield.

This prestigious event was held at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore on 1st and 2nd December.

Faculty Orientation & Development Session at IMS (Pak-AIMS) - Fall 2025

The Institute of Management Sciences (IMS Pak-AIMS) successfully organized a Faculty Orientation and Development Session on Friday, bringing together both permanent and visiting faculty members from the Departments of Computer Science and Management Sciences.

This insightful session was designed to align faculty with the institute’s vision of academic excellence, innovation, and professional growth. The Dean of the Institute, Dr. Asmat Nawaz Khattak, delivered a comprehensive overview of the academic framework, curriculum design, and timetable structure, ensuring a unified academic direction across all departments.

The Head of the Department of Computer Science, Dr. Muhammad Hassan, emphasized the significance of professional ethics, discipline, and classroom decorum, reinforcing the vital role of educators as mentors and role models for students.

A Moment of Pride for the Department of Computer Science, IMS (Pak-AIMS), Lahore

We are immensely proud to share that our Head of Department, Dr. Muhammad Hassan, along with our distinguished faculty members Sir Hamza and Sir Sheraz, represented the Institute of Management Sciences (Pak-AIMS) at the 8th IEEE International Conference on Energy Conservation and Efficiency (ICECE 2025), held at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, from 3rd to 4th November 2025.

Dr. Muhammad Hassan had the distinct honor of serving as a Session Chair in Track 1B: Intelligent Energy Systems and AI Applications, where he meticulously reviewed research papers, led technical discussions, and presented his own research paper titled “A Fuzzy-Driven Federated Learning Framework for Sustainable Energy Networks.” His contribution reflected the academic strength, leadership, and research excellence of our institution at an international forum.

Our esteemed faculty members, Sir Hamza and Sir Shiraz, also participated actively by presenting their research papers, engaging in discussions with global scholars, and receiving official IEEE participation and presentation certificates for their valuable contributions. Their dedication and scholarly engagement made this event even more remarkable.

Empowering Academic Excellence: Orientation on HEC (NCEAC & NBEAC) Standards, Course Folders, and Quality Policies and Reports (SAR(PREE), IPR, PGPR) at QEC.

The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at IMS Pak-AIMS organized a comprehensive orientation session under the leadership of Director QEC, Col. Sohail, aimed at familiarizing faculty members with the institutional and national quality assurance frameworks governed by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), NCEAC, and NBEAC.

The session was attended by faculty members from both the Department of Computer Science and the Department of Management Sciences. It provided new faculty with essential insights into quality assurance mechanisms, while also serving as a constructive refresher for senior faculty.

During his detailed address, Col. Sohail elaborated on the standards, accreditation procedures, and academic policies that underpin the university’s commitment to excellence. He particularly emphasized the development reports (PREE, PGPR, IPR) and course folders, including the formulation of comprehensive course outlines in accordance with the academic and quality assurance policies of IMS Pak-AIMS.

Kashmir Solidarity Seminar at IMS Pak-AIMS 🇵🇰

Today, on 27th October, in accordance with the directives of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), the Institute of Management Sciences (IMS Pak-AIMS) organized a seminar to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir and to reflect upon the tragic events that unfolded on 27th October 1947.

Students showcased their patriotism and empathy through poetic recitations, speeches, and debates, expressing deep concern over the longstanding humanitarian crisis in Kashmir.

The Dean of the University and Head of the Department of Computer Science delivered an insightful address, exploring the historical, political, and moral dimensions of the Kashmir issue and the participants shared their reflections on the injustices that began on this day in 1947, emphasizing the importance of unity, awareness, and peace.

Students from both the Department of Management Sciences and the Department of Computer Science actively participated, making this seminar a profound and impactful academic gathering.
