Independence Day 2026 Celebrations at IMS, Pak-AIMS

The Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), Pak-AIMS proudly celebrated Pakistan’s Independence Day with a meaningful ceremony dedicated to patriotism, national unity, and our collective responsibility toward the country’s progress.

The celebrations commenced with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, where the Dean hoisted the national flag, followed by the National Anthem.

At the auditorium, Dr. Muhammad Hassan, Head of Department of Computer Science, delivered an insightful speech highlighting Pakistan’s journey, the importance of prosperity and progress, and the vital role of researchers, academics, and students in contributing through knowledge, innovation, technology, and meaningful research.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt dua for the peace, prosperity, security, and progress of Pakistan, seeking Allah Almighty’s blessings for our beloved country.

The celebrations then continued with a Cake Cutting Ceremony, jointly initiated by the Registrar and Dean, marking the spirit of independence, unity, and shared national pride.

May Pakistan continue to prosper, progress, and rise as a strong, peaceful, and knowledge-driven nation. Ameen.

IMS Pak-AIMS at Jang Education Expo 2026

On 18th and 19th July 2026, IMS Pak-AIMS proudly participated in the Jang Education Expo 2026, one of Pakistan’s largest educational exhibitions, bringing together universities from across the country under one roof.

Throughout the two-day event, our faculty members and students had the privilege of guiding prospective students, parents, and researchers regarding academic programs, admissions, research opportunities, and career pathways at IMS Pak-AIMS.

The event witnessed the active participation of the Department of Computer Science, the Department of Management Sciences, the Director QEC, faculty members, and our dedicated senior students, who represented the university with professionalism and enthusiasm.

We sincerely thank the Jang Group for organizing such a remarkable platform that connects educational institutions with aspiring learners. It was a memorable experience and a proud moment for the entire IMS Pak-AIMS family to showcase our commitment to quality education and academic excellence.

Showcasing Innovation, Research, and Excellence | BS Computer Science Final Year Project (FYP) Evaluation

The Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) proudly organized the Final Year Project (FYP) Evaluation for the graduating BS Computer Science students on 22nd June 2026, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey.

The event highlighted the remarkable talent, creativity, and technical expertise of our future computing professionals as they presented innovative solutions to real-world challenges through their Final Year Projects. Each presentation reflected months of dedicated research, critical thinking, and practical implementation, demonstrating the students’ commitment to academic excellence and technological innovation.

The evaluation was conducted by the Head of the Department of Computer Science, alongside the Dean of Campus, who thoroughly assessed the projects and thesis presentations while providing insightful observations, constructive feedback, and professional guidance. The esteemed faculty members of the Department of Computer Science also actively participated in the evaluation process, contributing their expertise, appreciating the students’ outstanding efforts, and encouraging them to pursue excellence in their future academic and professional endeavors.

M.Phil. Computer Science Pre-Defense Successfully Conducted

The Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) successfully conducted the M.Phil. Computer Science Pre-Defense of two research scholars on 3rd July 2026.

The pre-defense session served as an important academic milestone, providing the scholars with an opportunity to present their research work and receive valuable feedback before their final thesis defense. The discussion focused on enhancing the quality, originality, methodology, technical contributions, and practical significance of the research.

The session was graced by the Dean of Campus, along with the esteemed faculty members of the Department of Computer Science, who shared their expert insights, constructive suggestions, and words of encouragement. Their valuable guidance will play a significant role in helping the scholars further refine their research and confidently prepare for their final defense.
