University of Nazamia Lahore was commenced on 11th Shawal 1376 Hijra /1956 at Baghichi Nahal Chand inside Lohari Gate and establishment of its new building was laid on 1972. Teaching was started at central Mosque Kharasian connected to Baghichi Nahal Chand later on this progression was also started at Baghichi Nahal Chand, which is still continued and Mosque Kharasiam is also the part of Universit

y as a Faculty Center. University of Nazamia Rizvia, established in which Baghich Nahal Chand, was the den of vulgarity, lavishness and harassment but it seems this part of land was in pleading to return to its imaginative from Almighty Allah ….. because four hundred years ago a religious institute was established here and Qaleej Khan, Governor Lahore at that time, taught Quran, Hadees with explanation and other religious knowledge, so Allah accepted the prayers of this place and not only a religious institute was established here again but also set milestones of development that now this institute is recognized as enormous

In the form of University of Nazamia Rizvia, this plant of knowledge was cultivated by great portrait of knowledge and achievement Hazrat Muhadis Azam Pakistan Allama Abu Alfazal Muhammad Sardar Ahmed, then his extraordinary student, teacher of scholars, Sheikh alhadees Allama Ghulam Rasool Rizivi monitored and developed this institute till 1962 and afterward his very intellectual, talented and hardworking student, teacher of scholars Hazrat Allama Mufti Muhammad Abdul Qayyum Hazrvi not only familiarized this institute to the phases of achievement and magnificence from 1962 to August 2003 but also narrate inspirational hearsay of gratification to the Muslim nation from the sky-scraping buildings of University of Nazamia Rizvia Sheikhupura. In Sheikhupura extensive land was purchased on cash for University of Nazamia and Interim education was stared and then in 1993, in a simple and impressive ceremony, permanent building was inaugurated. Progression and establishment in a very small period of 17 years , at this time inviting the audience to view, is an enormous evidence of Islamic friendship of contributors of University and Hazrat Mufti Azam (R.A)’s great efforts and attachment with his mission . As a result of leadership and administration of Hazrat Mufti Azam’s obedient son, Hazrat Sahibzada Muhammad Abdul Mustafa Hazarvi Zaid Mujda and sincere hard work of his bright and loyal student s University of Nazamia of Lahore & Sheikhupura is moving toward its destination at this time.
